Pet care experience
I've had my own dog(s) since I was in my mid 20s and I took care of neighbors' dogs since I was 12 or so. I had a sassy kitty from middle school until I lost her 12 years later to cancer. I started riding horses and ponies when I was 3 years old. I love all the animals.

I was fortunate to live next door to Kelly for several years. No pet owner I have ever known has been more conscientious and consistent in their care and love and attention to the unique characteristics of their pets. Riley liked to walk and Chloe liked to chase balls and Kelly made sure they both got their preferred exercise daily. I believe both know they are truly lucky dogs! Kelly really cares and she is completely trustworthy.

I will follow instructions on caring for your fur babies and make sure I spend the right time playing with them, making sure they have done their "business", and making sure they are safe and sound upon my departure. I am happy to collect the mail and bring it in, turn on/off lights, open/close blinds, water plants if needed.

Any personality traits like nervousness or excitement making a new friend - i.e. me. Is the dog super friendly, or maybe little aloof and needs "space." Is there anything you would like me to work on with your dog such as sit, stay, roll-over type commands? You can show me what your dog is learning and I can keep the lessons going. Are there any allergies to food, outdoor things to avoid? Do you feed treats between meals and will those be provided? If being walked through a neighborhood, are there any areas to avoid or things to specifically watch for?
A typical day
Long walks to sniff out all the smells. Play time! Do you like catching balls or frisbees? I've got years of experience with that. Do you like tug-of-war games? I've got years of experience with that. Do you like snuggles and belly rubs? Again, I've got years of experience with that. Whatever your dog enjoys, the walks, the play, the snuggles - I can provide that while you're away.

I have my own graphic design and workshop facilitation business that is all done from home. I have a very flexible schedule and that allows me to adjust as needed so I can take care of and spend time walking, playing with, loving on your special fur babies.
