Kayla was absolutely amazing while caring for my cat, Mamba! From the start, she was communicative, reliable, and clearly experienced with animals. She took the time to understand Mamba’s routine and quirks, and I could tell my cat was in great hands. Kayla sent regular updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. When I came home, Mamba was relaxed, happy, and clearly well cared for — and the house was just as I left it. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Kayla again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, trustworthy, and attentive catsitter!
Kayla has cared for both my dog Kershaw and my cat Elbie probably over 50 times in the last 6 years. She has a ton of experience caring for many of my friends' pets as well. She is caring, attentive, and loves animals! She recently spent a few days with my high-energy Boston Terrier/Boxer mix puppy (that will forever be a puppy even though he'll be 8yo in September), and she played with him for hours. She loves cuddles and loves on my fur babies as much as she can. She has experience with pets with her own family and always notices if there are changes in behavior or overall health. She's an excellent communicator and will provide thoughtful updates as often as a client would like. I'd recommend Kayla to anyone and everyone!

I have a spacious 1-bed apartment in a pet-friendly complex/community, located near the waterfront and nearby parks. In client homes I stay respectful of the space and can utilize any enrichments or crates if necessary.

Availability
I work for myself so my daily and weekly schedules are very flexible! My days start around 7am and go until 10-11pm, and I fill them with walks, errands, and leisure time at home. Summer/fall weekends are more busy for me (wedding/photography industry!), but I can still make time for AM/PM drop in visits. :)
