Kayla has such a deep love for dogs, and I love getting to constantly witness it. I see it in the way she gets excited about every dog on the street and how she always wants to know more about each one she gets to say hello to. Most importantly, I see it in her love for her own dog, Mickey. She is always willing and more than happy to play with him and care for him in any way he needs. Mickey is also a dog who has health issues, and Kayla always takes that into consideration. She treats him with such a kindness and gentleness that is equally rare and refreshing. In the loudness of laughter while they play and in the quiet of their rest, her love for dogs like Mickey is strong and sincere.
