Hello! My name is Kayla and I've been a loving pet owner since I was 8. I grew up with dogs, hamsters, birds, and cats.... but I've been told I'm a cat whisperer ;) *AT THIS TIME I'M ONLY BOARDING CATS AND KITTENS!*😻😻😻 I am available to board all of your feline friends and even pregnant mamas/moms with litters. I currently have 4 cats of my own. Through the rescue Pet Haven, I fostered over 30 cats, pregnant mamas, and kittens since December 2019. With boarding, I've had hundreds of cats in my care! I'm very familiar with the decompression process cats need in order to feel safe and secure. I have experience with socializing feral cats and kittens, litter-training cats who have issues with their box, and administering medication. Though it's not my favorite, I am no stranger to giving flea baths! Dropoff and pickup times (boarding): Monday - Friday: 9:00AM - 7:30PM Saturday - Sunday: 10:00AM - 6:30 PM Please book extra days as needed to fit within these windows or early/late fees will be added to your booking. Kayla was so great with my kitty! I was nervous to leave my 10 week old kitten for a long weekend but Kayla sent me updates with pictures and videos daily. When I got home my cat seemed content and like she barely even knew I was gone!
Kayla was fantastic! She did a great job with my cats who had never boarded been before. She provided lots of updates with pictures and videos. We will definitely use her again.
Kayla was outstanding and took great care of our two cats. It’s obvious that she loves cats and they loved her, too. She is organized and had a great set up for their stay - our nervous kitties quickly felt at home. Though we hadn’t boarded our cats before, this worked so well that we’ll definitely be working with Kayla again in the future.

Boarding your felines at my house means they will get lots of quality time as opposed to 30 minute drop ins. I have a room completely devoted to fostering and boarding. It has cushy cat beds, a cat tree, windows to bird watch, a bubbling water fountain - everything your cats need to kick back and relax. The "Kitty Suite" also opens up into my home office, so they can hang with me all workday! If your cat's stay is extended, and depending on your cat's sensitivity to other cats, I eventually am able to offer for them to roam about the whole house (my cats are very used to other felines!). I thoroughly clean the "kitty room" between every visitor, and litter is scooped twice daily. I look forward to treating your feline family as my own!

Please let me know of any special needs your feline friends require. I have experience giving oral medication, topical medication, special diets and supplements, bottle feeding, and kitten baths. I am comfortable learning about/administering treatments I may not yet be familiar with. For extended stays, please indicate if your cat does well with other cats (if known), and if you would like for them to integrate into my whole household. Knowing your cat's FIV/FeLV status is also appreciated! If your cat has litter box issues, I will board your cat on a case-by-case basis (increased fee may apply). If you have a pregnant mama cat or a mama with a litter, increased fees will apply (please let me know the ages and general health of the mom and kittens).
A typical day
I'll provide your cats' dietary requirements at the times they are used to. I have a cat tree, lots of cozy beds to snooze in, and windows for bird and squirrel watching. I work from home and will be able to provide them with lots of attention and playtime.

I work 100% from home. It will be no problem at all to keep your regular feeding/medication/play/etc schedule. I find routine to be key and very helpful in allowing the your cats to decompress.
