Availability
Kayla works weekdays from 5 pm to 9:30 pm and Saturdays from 2 pm to 9:30 pm, while Kyle works 6 pm to 6 am with a few days off each week. Our routine includes a morning walk, breakfast, and playtime or rest. During the day, we take them out for potty breaks and more play or relaxation. In the evenings, Kyle feeds and takes them out before his shift if it’s one of his workdays on Kayla’s workdays. We also do a short evening walk and one last potty break before bed.

We have an unfenced yard; however, we do have a long leash that allows your dog to roam around. We often take the dog(s) to the dog park, which is fenced, if they need a safe place to play. My dog is friendly and doesn’t pay much attention to other dogs, but he is getting older, and young pups with tons of energy can sometimes irritate him. We’re more than happy to use a crate if you provide one for any reason. We live in an apartment, and our entry doors open into the hallway instead of outside, which is great for a dog who is an escape artist.

A typical day
Our pet routine starts with a morning walk as soon as we wake up, followed by breakfast. During the day, while we're home, we take them out for potty breaks and some playtime or relaxation. Your dog(s) can also join us for a fun day at the trails, the dog park, or a nice walk! They’ll be showered with love, attention, and toys all day long. In the evenings, Kyle feeds and takes them out before his shift if it’s one of his workdays on Kayla’s workdays. We also go for a short evening walk and one last potty break before bed.

Hello! We’d love to spend time with your pet! We’re a bunch of animal lovers over here with a super energetic blue heeler named Kai. He gets along great with dogs, cats, and even exotic pets! Our roommates have a calm cat who’s also great with pups. We live in a friendly dog apartment complex with a paved trail, perfect for walks. We spend a lot of time walking around trails and love hitting up the dog park when it’s not too crowded. Your dog(s) are welcome to join us for some fun on the trails, a stroll around the block, or just hanging out. They’ll be spoiled with love and treated like one of our own! We love taking pictures of our adventures and would be happy to send you updates while you’re away, if you’d like. We’ve been pet-sitting for over four years now, not just through Rover. We’re comfortable with dogs, cats, reptiles, and other exotic pets—if you have any exotic pets to take care of, we can do that too! We’ll follow your instructions carefully because we respect what you and your pets need. Kayla has training experience with her dog, including obedience and special commands, so we’ll make sure to keep up with yours too. We’re also experienced in giving oral and topical meds, whether it's a daily or monthly thing. ***We want to create a safe and comfortable environment for all our furry friends, so we’re unable to accept dogs that exhibit reactivity, aggression, or excessive barking. We kindly ask that our canine companions be at least 2 years old to join us.***

Kayla was absolutely amazing. My little pup had a sore paw and she took extra good care of him in spite of his ailment. She was in very close contact with me throughout the stay and I felt at ease going out of town. I will definitely book Kayla again!
Kayla was so wonderful. I had to book super last minute, but she still made time to come over before I left to go over everything together. Suki is a very shy cat to strangers, but Kayla made sure get eyes on her each visit, and spent plenty of time trying to get her to come out with various toys and treats. She was very communicative and sent pictures every visit. I will absolutely be using Kayla again when I have another trip!

We are so grateful for all the love Kayla and Kyle showed our Kiwi girl while we were away! They kept her for 2 weeks while we were on our honeymoon and Kayla was so awesome at sending me pictures every single day! Kiwi had the time of her life and loved hanging out with Kai and Boltz and had a blast at all her trips to the dog park, she was truly sad to leave them all and come back home! 😆 I would recommend Kayla and Kyle to anyone and we will definitely be using them again in the future. Kiwi will be thrilled to visit again!
