Pet care experience
I love pet snuggles and play time!!
I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all ages! I had two cats in my home when I was young and first started taking care of pets with them. They both lived till about 17-18 years of age. I recently lost my 16 year old shih tzu who was my first childhood pup. My family still has a 12 year old shih tzu/yorkie, as well as a 6 year old, 4 year old and a 3 year old short haired domestic cats. My personal pet is a 5 year old golden retriever who we personally took through training during his early puppy years (crate, potty, etc), and he did very well at every step!! If you need, I will definitely share my training tips! My pup was potty trained very quickly. I love caring for animals and giving owner’s an extra hand when they need!

Kayla was wonderful and incredibly patient with our fur babies. Our dog can be really shy and full of anxiety when we leave him but Kayla handled his care so graciously. She provided consistent check in’s to us on both our dog and cat which was great for peace of mind. Would recommend her to anyone!
Kayla did great with our pets! Our dog had never been away from us for more than just a few hours, but Kayla took good care of him while we were gone for almost a week. She also managed our cats' feeding and medication schedules like a pro! :)
I would highly suggest Kayla as your sitter. Not only is she sweetheart but is so caring. She sent me pictures everyday of my cat that would hide under the bed. She even crawled under it to get a better picture. I trusted her smiling disposition from the start and was not disappointed at all. She has a good head on her shoulders and is very professional. She is my go to for my pet sitter. Thank you Kayla!
Kayla was wonderful with our animals! Our dogs take a little time to warm up to strangers and she understood that and took time to get to know them without pushing them. She communicated with us while we were gone, letting us know how things were going and sending pics. I would highly recommend her!!!

Schedule
I recently moved to Columbus this past school year, and just completed the first year of my graduate program at The Ohio State University. I have a light schedule right now as I am on summer break, so I have plenty of time to give attention and love animals! I’m available for the most part every other Friday-Sunday anytime, and all weekdays! I am in the job hunt right now, so my schedule may change in near future. For now, I can’t wait to give your animals all my love (:

Safety, trust & environment
I am in an apartment complex currently, but Kota grew up at my parent’s home with a nice big backyard. I love hanging around in the backyard to play fetch with sticks with my dog, Dakota. I take him on at least one walk (but we hope for three with weather varying) everyday!! I have lots of pet toys that I bring with me everywhere, so he always something to play with. I watched puppy very closely when he was younger, in order to make sure he doesn’t get into anything he shouldn’t, but I also allow him his freedom to explore and learn life on his own as well. My older dogs don’t like to play very much anymore, but if there is a pet who wants to play I will play!!

A typical day
I love playing fetch and tug with dogs and puppies!! I also really enjoy taking them on walks and letting them enjoy the outdoors and all the new smells they come across! I typically just walk around my neighborhood with my dog and sometimes we make stops in the park to play and run in the open grass (: I also like playing with cats and their string toys or cat nip toys so they can get some exercise as well!
