Hi there! I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities, including senior, anxious, and high-energy pets. At home, I currently have two small dogs, Wallace (14) and Tofu (7), along with my cat Luna (9). Animals have always been a big part of my life, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets and their routines. I'm comfortable with: - Senior dog & cat care - Giving medication - High-energy dogs who need extra engagement - Anxious or shy pets who need patience and calm energy - Positive reinforcement and treat-based training I'm not a professional trainer, but I genuinely enjoy working with dogs on basic skills, confidence, and engagement through positive reinforcement. If your dog is treat motivated, I'd love to incorporate little training moments into walks or drop-ins (with your permission of course!). I have a flexible schedule and am available Tuesdays–Friday from 7am–6pm, allowing me to give your pets lots of attention, consistency, and care. Whether your pet needs a calm companion, extra playtime, a slow walk, or just someone patient and attentive to check in on them, I'd love to help! Pets are family! I'll always do my best to make them feel safe, understood, and cared for while you're away 🐾

I focus on keeping your pet's routine as consistent and stress-free as possible while you're away. I'll follow your instructions closely, including feeding, medication, and walk routines. I'm patient, attentive, and always prioritize your pet's safety and comfort, both in your home and on walks.

Kayla is wonderful with Riley! He adores her. During her drop in visit with Riley, she made sure that he got a potty break and plenty of playtime outside, as well as some enrichment indoors. She used positive reinforcement to redirect him as needed outdoors and sent updates and lots of photos. Kayla is a kind and compassionate animal lover, and I would recommend her to anyone!
Kayla is truly the BEST and we feel so lucky we found her 🥹✨ From our very first meet & greet, we knew she was special — she literally showed up with a notebook and asked the most thoughtful questions about our dogs, routines, preferences, and care. That level of preparation and attention immediately put us at ease. She gives total Disney princess energy. So gentle, calm, kind, and clearly such an animal person. Both of our small, anxious rescue pups absolutely adore her (which says everything because they can be pretty selective with people!). She made them feel safe right away and has been incredibly patient and attentive with them. She’s also an amazing communicator — proactive, responsive, thoughtful updates, and just generally someone who makes you feel like your pets are in such good hands. We’re so grateful to have found Kayla and genuinely can’t recommend her enough. Thank you for taking such good care of our fur babies 🤍

Schedule
I have a very flexible schedule and am available Tuesday-Friday from 7am-6pm for walks, drop-ins, and enrichment time. I'm able to give pets consistent attention and adjust to their routines as needed.
Prices include all fees.
