"Expert Dog Care with Compassion"
Pet care experience
I have extensive experience in caring for dogs, ensuring they lead happy and healthy lives. Along with providing balanced nutrition, regular exercise, and grooming, I also have a strong background in dog training and animal behavior. I’m skilled at understanding different dog personalities, whether they’re energetic puppies or calm adults, and I tailor care to meet their individual needs. My training experience includes teaching basic commands, addressing behavioral issues, and fostering positive habits. Building trust and creating a loving environment for dogs is my priority, and I take pride in giving them the attention, affection, and guidance they deserve. If you would also be interested in dog training please message me.

Reviews

Kayla was amazing! I needed a sitter very last minute and she was perfect. She was prompt in answering the booking request and any messages. She took amazing care of my crazy pups and made sure to keep me updated on how they were doing and made sure everyone ate and went potty. Will 100% be using her again!
Kayla is a very knowledgeable and responsible dog owner as well as an aspiring dog trainer. She volunteers at several adoption events and loves all animals. She has education in the behavioral and physical needs of dogs as well as other animals. She is very trustworthy and will provide exercise for the needs of your pet. She is very friendly and animals love her. You will not be disappointed as she is good at what she does, and best of all she loves it.
Kayla has been around animals and livestock all of her life. She understands how they operate and has been trained to do so. I recommend and trust that she will provide the loving care that you will need while you are out or provide the necessary care and exercise that your pet needs on a daily basis.

If your dog bullies other animals in the house they will be crated or put in a time-out. I am an AKC Certified [dog trainer/evaluator] and animal behaviorist in training. So I know how dogs think. And if your dog tries to bully me, I know how to handle it with force-free methods since I am a force-free dog trainer. I have two corgis at home who pick fights with each other and when they do, they are separated and crated for about 5 minutes before release to calm down.
Information Kayla B. would like to know about your pet
What is your dog's temperament and do they have a bite history? Are there any behavioral concerns, medical issues, or food allergies? Are they high or low energy? Does your dog have any quirks I should know about? Are they nervous around other dogs or scared of certain things or objects?
A typical day
I like to give dogs time to get their sniffs in on the first 15 minutes of their walk then burn their physical energy with a fast-paced walk. And I like to play cognitive games meant for dogs to challenge their problem-solving skills and decision-making skills. And of course, a game of fetch in a fenced-in backyard would be great as well.
