Pet Passionate Dog Mom!
Pet care experience
While I’ve had family pets my whole life (dogs, cats, tortoises, frogs, and classic betta fish), I waited until after undergrad to try my hand at raising puppies. I have two energetic Siberian huskies who LOVE their play time, their walks and trips to the dog park. They make fast friends! Zuko, the youngest husky, has cataracts in his eyes, so I have a lot of personal experience with medication and eye drop administration.

Katri has walked my dog plenty of times, and he absolutely loves her. She’s super dependable, great with animals, and just really easy to work with. I never have to worry when she’s with Melvin. I know he is getting love, exercise, and attention. If you’re looking for someone who treats your dogs like her own, Katri’s your person.
Katri is a loving dog mom of 2 incredible huskies. She is dedicated to going above and beyond to care for her pets. I know my pets are safe in her care and she cares for them with the same consideration she has for her own. I highly recommend Katri!

We have known Katri since her childhood. She has always been a dog lover and her two dogs are her children. She is a loving and caring pet owner and takes a genuine interest in other people’s pets as well. She has frequently cared for our 3 dogs when we are out of town and often takes them for long walks and/or plays with them. She is patient, thoughtful and very intelligent. My wife and I would highly recommend Katri to anyone considering using her for pet walking, boarding or general pet care. She is an amazing human!

My backyard is fully fenced (6ft wood fence), and two young, energetic Siberian huskies to keep your baby company! Both of my boys are neutered, friendly, and don’t mind a little rougher play. My dogs are not crated while I’m away, but I do have a crate and a separate room for your pup for the hours I am gone. Dogs are always allowed on the furniture in my house.

I’d love to know if your dog has any special dietary restrictions, if they’re okay with treats, or if they’re allowed dog friendly “people” food. It’s also important for me to know if your pup is reactive to other dogs like on walks, or if they resource guard any toys (mine for example guard tennis balls, so we don’t usually have those in the house).
A typical day
I always try to find ways to stimulate my boys mentally and physically. We take long neighborhood walks (45 minutes to an hour, 1.5-3 miles), and we stop at a LOT of bushes and trees for neighbor sniffing. I live in a neighborhood with loads of streets and two parks, one immediately across the street from my house. I also have a sniff spot account, where I pay to take my dogs to fully fenced private dog parks to let them run and sniff off leash without fear of losing them! My boys are also big chewers, so we always have bully sticks, pig ears, or sawed deer antlers available for them to much on, as well as the heavy duty Kong toys. We play lots of tug at home too! I’m a big fan of fetch, but my huskies aren’t, but I’d love to play with your pups! That would also get my boys to run too.

Availability
I currently only work part time at our local restaurant, and I’m off Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Wednesdays I work 4:30pm-9pm, and Sundays I work 9am-1pm, but I have the unique ability to take as many breaks on Sunday as I please, offering more time for potty breaks and walks! Mondays I work 9am-1pm and 4pm-9pm, so I usually do come home on my break to walk and feed my boys, and if that schedule works for your pup, I’d be happy to care for them then as well!
