Pet care experience
I’ve always loved being around animals. Growing up, we had cats at home, so I learned early on how to care for them and understand their behavior. I still really enjoy spending time with cats - whether it’s playing, cuddling, or just relaxing nearby. At the same time, I always dreamed of having a dog. Since we didn’t have one, I often walked the neighbors’ dogs just to spend time with them. These days, I occasionally take care of my sister’s dog - usually for a week or two when we visit each other. I really enjoy taking him for long walks and practicing his little tricks. Even though I don’t have pets of my own right now, I really enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe and well cared for.

Katja looked after our Sibirian Husky now a couple of times and she is very responsable and seems to be very calm even in more stressful situations. She is a very dog friendly person and our dog loves her. We booked Katja also straight away again for our next holiday in July.

Katja has always been wonderful with our husky. Despite his size (he weighs 26 kg) she handles him confidently and with care on walks. I trust her completely with him, and he is always excited to see her. Katja has a natural, gentle way with animals and enjoys looking after them. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter.

A typical day
I really enjoy being outside — and even more when I have some good company! That’s why I’d be happy to go on long walks with a dog and explore the surroundings together. Indoors, I love giving cuddles, playing, and making sure the pet feels comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for.

I'm just finishing my Master’s degree and currently looking for a job. That means I’m very flexible this summer and can help during the week or on weekends — during the day, in the evening, or even at night.
