I’ve had dogs around me my entire life. As a child, my parents inevitably turned into the caregivers. As I entered adulthood, I saw just how monumental of a responsibility dogs are and what they require to feel happy, safe, secure and fulfilled. I truly believe dogs can suffer from sadness and anxiety if not properly cared for. My chocolate lab and English bulldog are my life and they both have such different needs. Dealing with a Brachycephalic dog has given me unique experience. Their sensitivities to environmental/food allergens, temperature extremes, other breeds, exercise limitations, etc. I’d like to think of our home as a safe haven for your dogs while you take that family vacation or go out of town for the weekend. My husband and I have foregone countless trips due to my inability to leave my fur babies behind. I offer my services so that you are able to be absent with peace of mind!

Katie is an awesome addition to Leo’s and Zion’s lives and I would certainly book her again in the future. She dedicated a lot of time to them and was able to get them on multiple adventures during their stay.
Katie is in her element. Prime and Stevie had a wonderful time in her safe and welcoming home. They hiked everyday in the beautiful BLM land right outside her door. Katie sent oodles of pictures and messages. I knew my girls were safe, happy, and loved. It is the very first time I have ever left them knowing I wouldn't have to wander or worry about a thing. If you are hesitant because Katie seems to live a little ways away--the drive to get there makes you exhale. It is beautiful and easy to navigate. I cannot say enough about Katie. I have already booked with her again.
Katie is amazing! We have two 1y/o goldens who are full of energy. We have never had to board them so we were apprehensive about finding the perfect place and perfect person to watch over them. We definitely found "perfect" with Katie. She not only made the dogs feel right at home, she made us feel comfortable about leaving them. The pictures she sent daily were wonderful and we could see that they were really having a great time. Now the pups are hoping we will go on another vacation again so they can go back and stay with Katie! She's the best and we highly recommend her.
Katie is AWESOME!! Her property is outside of town and off the beaten path - which makes it an ideal spot for dogs to spread out and explore. Katie is excellent at communication before, during and after your booking. She offers fantastic pics of your pet’s adventures during their stay and she truly cares for your dogs like they are her own. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Katie is the best. She is communicative, cares about her pups, her business and is very professional. She treats your dogs like her dogs and they will have the best time at her place in the beautiful mountains. Truly a gem of a caretaker of your beloved furry friends, don't hesitate to utilize her great services!
Handled our vizsla(that's saying something) and mix just fine. She seems to really care about our and all dogs! Would recommend especially with dogs that like hikes and outdoors!

Schedule
I am currently a full time stay at home dog mom. After 16 years in the newspaper production business and most recently the mortgage industry, I decided to take a breather and do something I love that I know could directly impact others in a positive way.

My husband and I have a rural property with 10 acres. Our home has an open floor plan with easy access to front and backyard playtime. Your pup will never feel isolated or lonely. We are set back 1 mile from the main road, allowing for freedom to roam and explore in peace!
Pets
A typical day
We have brain games, snuffle mats, a long driveway to go for safe walks to check the mail, and easy access to tons of public land and trails for our adventurous guests :)
