I would like to know ahead of time feeding schedules to make sure dogs are staying in their typical routine to make them comfortable while in my care. I also like to be aware of any medications they may have and if they have any behavior issues so that I can account for that while caring for them.
A typical day
I like to give pets exercise both indoors and outdoors. I enjoy getting them active and running around but also providing them with time to rest and recover. Walks are fun for dogs who need to be leash walked and I love going for both long and short walks.

Hi. My name is Katie and I am 24 years old. I currently teach English at a local high school and do pet sitting on the side. I’ve had dogs all my life. I had two large dogs that have passed, then adopted two medium sized ones with my parents who are now 8 years old and recently adopted a lab puppy with my fiance. I currently walk dogs for family members as well as a few regular dogs in our town. I’m looking to expand my pet sitting to include more dogs! I grew up around dogs, but I also have experience with cats when I watch my neighbors animals. I had to take care of old senile large sized dogs as well as puppies that were 5 lbs. Just returned from a 4 day holiday weekend after booking Katie last minute and what a blessing she turned out to be. Katie took care of our home and pets as if they were her own. We have one rescue dog with serious past abuse PTSD, a Husky that requires frequent trips outside (both also requiring special meal instructions and/or medication) and a very shy cat and she was an absolute master. Katie navigated a blown HVAC capacitor tech visit and a power outage due to someone driving into a local neighborhood restaurant and she never complained once. If we could leave a 6th star, we absolutely would. What an amazing human.
Katie is amazing. My persnickety and aloof Shiba Inu has warmed right up to her in record time. I know Milo is super well cared for and content when Katie is watching him. I do not stress about how Milo is doing. That is a huge!
Katie was wonderful. She took amazing care of my 12 year-old Shiba Inu for three days. Milo was well cared for and she provided regular updates, including pictures that gave me great comfort. Super respectful of the home, even doing the dishes and mopping the floor before she left. I highly recommend Katie.
Katie is a wonderful sitter. I wasn’t too sure how I felt about using this app, but Katie eased my worries right away when I met her. She is kind and my pup loves her. She takes great care of my little guy.
