Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of dogs my entire life. Growing up my family has always had dogs in our home. Our first pet was a border collie named Cody. He lived until he was 17 and was the smartest little bundle of energy. Our next dog was for my 6th grade birthday. He was a bichon-toy poodle mix named Paddington. I currently am the proud mom of an 11 year old shih-tzu named Jaxon. Jaxon has pretty significant allergies and dry eyes, so I have to give him daily eye drops, medication, and weekly baths. I am familiar with dogs that have special diets, take medication, and need extra supervision (Jaxon loves to lick to itch his belly).

Katie took special care of our two dogs, Agnes & Henry. Over a long weekend, Agnes' health deteriorated and Katie gave her extra special care and attention. If we could give her six stars, we would. We will definitely contact Katie in the future for our pet care needs!

Unfortunately, we aren’t able to have other dogs in our apartment. I am more than happy to house sit, which I love because then the pups are in their own environment. Since I work from home I can work in your home, so your pet isn’t alone or locked up all day! I like to try to use the same commands you use and follow same rules for the dogs as if you were home with them. I am a huge dog lover, so your pup loves attention and lots of cuddles they will definitely get that from me!

I love to take dogs on walks, play, cuddle, and belly rubs. I can play catch with your dog and work on commands while you are away.
