I have been around all kinds of animals my whole life. Growing up on a farm, I cared for dogs, cats, horses and rabbits. Animals are my passion and that passion has carried into my adulthood, as I now have 2 dogs and a cat of my own. I've had my cat for 10 years and I have raised both of my dogs from puppies. I've worked at petsmart, volunteered at animal shelters and taken professional training classes with my own dogs. I work from home full time as a graphic designer so I am home all day on most days, also meaning I have a very flexible schedule. I have a large fenced in backyard, 3 bedroom house with no children and my dogs are very friendly and well socialized. I would take great care of your dog while you're away and keep constant attention on them at all times, whether they are staying at my house or I'm making drop in visits at your house. I've used rover for my dogs for the past few years and I know how important it is to have good communication with the owners. Photos will be sent often, meals and/or medication will be administered on time and dogs will be let out in the backyard once an hour. I will send at least 2 messages and/or photos of your pet a day and be easy to contact at all times, as well as set up a meet and greet before your dog's stay. I'm a trustworthy, active and professional person who would truly enjoy taking care of your pet and setting your mind at ease while you're away or at work. My hours of operation are from 8am-8pm. If you are looking to drop off/pick up before or after those times, I do request that you add another night of boarding. I look forward to meeting you and your pet!! *I took some time off from dog sitting to care for my elderly cat. Now that it's 2025, I'll be accepting new clients again!* I work from home full time, so I am home almost all day on most days and am able to give your pup my full attention during their stay. I require all my clients to be kennel trained. I only use the kennel at night as a safety precaution, or if I have to step out for an appointment or a quick trip to the grocery store. While boarding, I wake up with the dogs around 8am and start by letting them outside to stretch their legs and go the bathroom. Then we come inside and I feed breakfast. Throughout the day, the dogs mostly just relax with a toy and go outside to play about once every hour or two, depending on the weather. Dinner is fed around 5pm and we relax a little more until bedtime at 9pm. I let the pups out once more around 11pm to ensure they don't have any accidents.
