Pet care experience
I have been around dogs my entire life, and got my first very own dog 15 years ago, an English bulldog named Zoey. We lost her to cancer last year, and now have our amazing boxer Abby, who just turned one year old! I have cared for friends’ dogs multiple times throughout the years, and have experience caring for dogs of various ages. We have had dogs stay for just one or two nights, up to 1-2 weeks at a time, so we are flexible in meeting your needs! I also have experience with giving medications as needed! After offering sitting via Facebook and word of mouth, I figured why not make it Rover official 🐶

Katherine is the best! I could not have asked for a better home away from home for our fur baby, Bella. She is very personal and loved on Bella like her own. Bella played with her family dog, Abby and her kids all day long and loved it. Our family also loved getting pictures throughout her stay. Bella had a rather long stay (we picked her up on day 10) and we got updates with pictures everyday! Bella was sad to leave her new best friend Abby at the end, but we will be booking with Katherine again! Thank you for taking amazing care of Bella!
Katie took amazing care of my senior dog, Lola! She kept her for 5 days - fed her, walked her, and loved on her. Lola was completely comfortable with Katie. It was so nice not to worry at all when Lola was in Katie's care! Amazing communication and super professional. Highly recommend.
I can’t recommend Katie highly enough! She and her family adore animals and this shows in the loving care she gives to her own pets. Katie has looked after our dog Holly on numerous occasions and we know how well she’s loved by how happy she is to see Katie. If you choose to have Katie pet, sit know they will be welcomed by the family and treated with love and affection at all times.
Katie is THE best!! She is loving, attentive and always takes the best care of our Nola! Her whole family cares for her like she’s theirs and we never ever worry when we’re away because we know Nola is enjoying her time at her home away from home. ❤️

We have a very large backyard that we are in the process of getting fenced in on August 1st! Until that time all friends are walked safely via leash in the backyard for potty breaks! Our dog Abby is very social and loves playing with other dogs! We strive to emulate as much of a “home away from home experience”, as possible and we will do our best to keep your dog on the same schedule they are accustomed to at home! Your dog will be snuggled and loved as if they were a member of our own family! I have a spare crate if your dog is crate trained, as well as a cozy room with extra dog beds if they do best tucked in to a quiet space when we are out of the home. Your dog is welcome to hang out on the couch or on a bed! We are here for all the snuggles! If you prefer them to sleep in a crate, that’s what we will do! I so look forward to snuggling your fur baby and giving them a “home away from home” experience.

A typical day
My boxer Abby provides plenty of entertainment and interaction, but I also love going for walks and jogs! My oldest son LOVES dogs and is there for all the snuggles and play time too!

Availability
As a stay at home mom to two little boys, ages 7 and 5 my schedule is very flexible! My husband Sy works in the oil field in Oklahoma and is home every two weeks. I am home most hours of the day, with the exception of day-to-day errands such as going to this grocery store, or kid drop off and pick ups for various appointments! I also substitute teach at my boys elementary school during the weeks when my husband is home from his work rotations! So basically, if I’m subbing he is home! I am available for boarding 7 days a week. We also feel that is it important to share that our youngest son, Max is non-verbal autistic. Max is the sweetest, quietest little boy who does extremely well with dogs who come into our home. And in all honesty, he is so indifferent and could care less lol 💕 he loves our Abby and just walks around dogs who have stayed with us. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this, we are happy to answer 😊
