*CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS* Hello! Thank you for taking the time to check out our profile. My name is Katherine. I am committed to providing the best care for your fur babies. I have extensive amounts of experience prior to Rover and have been with Rover for around 9 years now. It has always been my passion to work with animals and I have treasured every second of it. I am a stay at home mother who solely focuses on Rover. Working full-time with Rover allows me to give the love and care your pet deserves and also work around the clock to ensure that they have a calm, comfortable and safe environment. As you can see from my pictures I have a huge amount of dog experience, however I have chosen to focus my time on felines now :) I have extensive amounts of boarding cats and have owned cats my whole life. I have also fostered cats for a period of time. Our schedule is open unless otherwise noted in the availability calendar. Pets are allowed to free roam the house. If you feel bringing any items from home would make them most comfortable, you are more than welcome to. To ensure comfort and relaxation we have white noise machine going overnight so they get a great nights sleep. For meal time the cats will eat separate to insure a safe eating environment as some animals are territorial with their food. Crates for sleep are available per owners request and availability can vary depending on time of stay, so be sure to contact me prior to any booking request about this. I send multiple daily photo updates on your pets well being, food intake, and bathroom usage. Also, access to necessities like water is provided 24/7 indoors. I am available to provide lots of playtime. We do recommend bringing their regular food, favorite treats and anything that would make your kitties feel right at home. Cats must be brought in their carrier. Set up your meet and greet today! I will try to fit you in as quickly as possible. Please note that if I am boarding cats up until your scheduled stay date we will not be able to accommodate a meet and greet for liability reasons. Meet and greets will take place at our house so they can get familiar with their environment prior to their stay. They will be required to be brought in a carrier. If your cat seems comfortable they are free to walk around the home and meet Oreo my 1 year old super friendly cat! I understand some pets can be a little scared and anxious at first coming into a new home. In order to minimize this, I let them get acclimated to their surroundings and let them settle in before being introduced other cats at their stay. We do board multiple cats at a time. So if you would prefer it’s only your cats at the time please try to reach out in advance so I can accommodate that. The more the merrier but I do understand some kitties do better solo! My absolute favorite part about that, is seeing all these cats who have never met before develop a bond together so quickly which they will never forget about. When they are all playing together and I get to see that one shy cat jump in and have the time of their lives, it’s the missing puzzle piece to my heart. To ensure I can accommodate your booking request, please check the availability calendar prior. We update it daily so if space is available we would love to have your furry friend along for the fun! We accept drop offs/pick ups between the hours of 9am- 9pm. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me prior to any bookings to confirm that special requests can be accommodated. Katherine was fantastic. She was responsive and sent across daily pictures. My cat seemed to do great while he was with her. Would highly recommend and will definitely be using her again next time we are out of town.
Katherine was amazing! She gave daily updates, sent pictures and even took Georgie to the vet when his eye became irritated (ongoing issue for him). I’m definitely booking with her the next time I need a sitter for him!
Katherine was truly a great sitter! Throughout the entire trip that I had, she maintained seamless communication every single day, and kept providing consistent updates on the condition of my pet, making my trip a lot more comfortable and less stressful. She was also able to make last minute arrangements for me in a very timely manner despite the circumstances, and that proved to me further that I had chosen the right sitter for my pet. Any other additional instructions I had she was able to accommodate wonderfully, and based on the images she had sent me, my pet felt very safe around her and her environment as well. If any future trips happen to come forward, I would definitely consider booking with Katherine again, as she is a wonderful sitter.
Katherine and her family took care of our cat well. Our cat had pooped in her crate before drop off. Katherine cleaned our cat and the crate neatly. Our cat had a good time at her place. Thank you!
Katherine was an amazing host, she went through a medical emergency and got hospitalized while our cat was staying with her and still was communicating with us and sending us pictures. I could tell she really cares for you and your pets with how much she was trying despite the fact she had gotten so sick. I’m very appreciative of that, I would recommend her to anyone. This was my cat Gracie’s 2nd stay at Katherine’s. There were more cats there this time. Katherine noticed Gracie’s discomfort and gave her free roam of more of the house so Gracie immediately climbed high and found herself a sleeping spot. Happy cat, happy life. I appreciate Katherine’s willingness to allow shy Gracie more freedom. Katherine is a prompt communicator and photo taker. Gracie already has her next reservation set here.

Schedule
I work full time with Rover and am home most of the time raising my child so they are rarely left alone. He loves cats too!

Safety, trust & environment
I follow the exact instructions given to us by owner. I am very accommodating to requests. I have experience with cats with separation anxiety, medical conditions (seizures, arthritis, gastrointestinal, diabetes, allergies, ect.) and disabilities (blind, deaf, missing limbs, ect.) and can quickly sense any extra care or attention they may need. I like to keep a tidy home to ensure your baby is as safe as possible, doesn’t get into anything and has plenty of open space to roam around. Safety is our number 1 priority.

A typical day
There are various activities we plan depending on the personality of the pet. Toys, climbing the big cat tower cuddles on the couch, a nice nap, and most importantly group playtime if they are up for it :)
