For as long as I can remember, I have taken care of many friends' and family members' pets ranging from cats, dogs, birds, hamsters and lizard. Growing up with a beloved Shih Tzu for 14 years taught me the importance of compassion and responsibility in pet care. These experiences have deepened my love for animals and equipped me with the skills to ensure their well-being.

Katherine D. visited and cared for my scat, Lilly, in a challenging situation. Lilly is a very shy cat. Lilly and I had arrived in our new Ottawa home just ten days before I had to leave for three days on an important family trip. Katherine came twice each day and sent a picture at every visit. As I anticipated, Lilly spent most of her time under my bed, leaving only to eat and use her litter box. I came home to see a saucer of wet food for Lilly, a well-filled bowl of dry food, a bowl of water, and a tidy litter box and litter box area. As soon as Lilly smelled my hand reaching toward her she came out from under the bed, tail up, happy to see me. It's clear to me that Katherine D. showed sensitivity and kindness toward my cat, making sure she had everything she needed and respecting her shy temperament.
Katherine took such great care of our dog, Louie! We felt completely at ease knowing he was in good hands. She was attentive, responsible, and clearly very comfortable with him. Louie was happy and well looked after when we got back, which says it all. We’d definitely have her back again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.
We were away for nearly two weeks, and Katherine followed all the instructions we provided for taking care of our cats perfectly. She kept us updated with pictures and videos throughout the day and night, fed them on time, and administered medication to one of our cats exactly as prescribed. Thanks to her consistent updates and attentive care, we had complete peace of mind while we were away. We couldn’t recommend her more highly.
My pugs LOVE spending time with Katherine. She is a great sitter that provides the best care when we’re away and we’re lucky to have her! 🐾
Katherine is such a sweetheart and we trusted her fully to live in our home and take care of our kitty while we were away. She sent plenty of cute photos and videos with updates while we were missing him and took great care of the apartment. Will definitely hire her again in the future!!

Schedule
I work full-time in Gatineau with a variable start and end time. During weekdays, I may be available for quick check-ins or visits during my 1-hour lunch break, depending on timing and location. I am fully available on Fridays and throughout the weekend for extended pet care.
