I've been a cat owner my entire life, so caring for cats comes naturally to me. I understand that every cat has a unique personality—some are playful and social, while others need patience, quiet, and their own space. I'm comfortable earning a cat's trust at their own pace and making sure they feel safe and secure while you're away. I currently have four cats of my own, along with a dog who grew up around them and genuinely thinks he's a cat! My home is set up with cats in mind, with multiple litter boxes throughout the house to keep things clean and comfortable. I also have a dedicated spare room where cats can hide, nap, or simply enjoy a quiet space if they need a break or time to adjust. Since I work from home, your cat will have plenty of attention and won't be left alone for long periods. I'll keep their routine consistent, refresh food and water, maintain clean litter boxes, provide playtime or cuddles (if they're in the mood!), and send regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind. I'll care for your cat just like I care for my own—with patience, love, and lots of attention to their individual needs.

Katherine was great! I highly recommend her. We have 4 cats that she took care of for us while we were out of town & she was very communicative, sent updates & photos daily. I could tell that our cats felt comfortable with her which was very important.
Before Katherine decided to join Rover, she watched my cats, Mittens and Smokey. I often left for work and would leave them at her house. She always sent pictures, and it was comforting to know she was always with them because she works from home. I had to move, and we all miss her! She is the best cat sitter, and will give your cats full attention and care.

Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, so your pet will have plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. They won't be left alone for long periods, and I'll be able to keep up with their normal schedule, including potty breaks, meals, playtime, and lots of affection. I also have two wonderful high schoolers who love animals and enjoy spending time with our pets. Together, we provide a calm, loving environment where your pet will be treated like part of the family. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away.

In my home, I follow each pet's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of rest. I have experience with both cats and dogs, and my home is pet-friendly with comfortable spaces to relax, including a quiet room for pets who prefer a little extra privacy. Because I work from home, pets receive plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I also have multiple litter boxes for cats and a friendly Blue Heeler who gets along well with both dogs and cats. When caring for pets in a client's home, I respect their routine and home just as I would my own. I'll follow all care instructions, keep food and water fresh, clean litter boxes or pick up after dogs, provide exercise and playtime, administer basic care as instructed, and send regular photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and as comfortable as possible while you're away.

Every cat is different, so I like to tailor playtime to their personality. My own cat, Roo, loves playing hide-and-seek with me, and it's one of our favorite games! I also enjoy using wand toys, laser pointers (followed by a toy they can "catch"), and tossing toy mice. For cats who prefer a quieter pace, I'm just as happy to spend time brushing them, offering treats, or relaxing together while they nap nearby. My goal is to make sure every cat feels comfortable, engaged, and loved while you're away.
