Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover my whole life, but didn’t truly realize my appreciation for them until high school when I started pet sitting (over ten years ago!) I would watch my friends’ pets when they were on vacation, and felt compelled to make the pets’ stay with me a vacation as well 🐶😊. Since I started watching dogs I always considered them my PIC (partner in crime.). I take them with me on all my adventuress! They meet all my family and friends, and I have even taken a dog on a weekend trip to Block Island (with owners permission of course!) These days, I am in and out of the house throughout the day. I have a small business, which I run out of my home. I am home for majority of the day, but often have to step out for no more than 2-3 hours at a time. I typically give dogs 2 long walks (30-40 minutes) a day, and take them out in the yard and small walks down the street at least 5 times a day. They get potty breaks every 2-3 hours. I am a VERY active person. I am a marathon runner and avid hiker. No matter what your dog’s activity level is, I will be sure to tucker them out🐶😂. My typical morning and evening walk for dogs is a mile and a half around the reservoir trail in my back yard. I am more than happy to adjust to match your dog’s needs. I live on a small family street. My family and dear neighbors are all nearby. My large yard, close knit community, woods, reservoir trails and loving family truly is a paradise for dogs🐶😊❤️

Let me know about any special needs your pet has. If your dogs or cats have diet restrictions, medications, or even a favorite toy they can’t sleep without, I want to know! No details are too small. I want your pets to feel at home! On Saturdays, I sell at a local farmers market. I am gone for no more than 5 hours. This is longest I am ever away from home during the week when I am hosting dogs. Dogs must be able to be left at home alone that long.
A typical day
I wake up extremely early. I am up by 5 drinking coffee. I will wait for the dog to wake up on their own, and when they do, I take them out for potty break immediately. I will do some work at home, and when the sun starts to come up, I take dogs on long walk on the reservoir trail. I will either be home working for most of the day, or have to run out for meetings or other work for a couple hours at a time, but as soon as I come home, I take the dog out for potty and play. Before dinner, I’ll take the dog on another long walk and then hang out and snuggles before bed.

Availability
My schedule varies every day. I can be in and out throughout the day, but never away from home for more than 2-3 hours at a a time. I am typically home for the day by 3pm. Some days I am home all day! It really depends on the week.
