I'm a freelance publicist, which gives me flexible hours to spend quality time with your pet. I'm typically available mornings on both weekdays and weekends, and since I can work remotely, I'm also open to afternoon walking/sitting if needed. I'm happy to discuss a schedule that fits your needs best! I can also do extended stays, just give me some advance notice so I can make sure I'm available.

Since I have a cat of my own, I only board pets at the client's home. I'm extremely respectful of each pet's space and routines - I follow their regular schedule for feeding, walks, and playtime, and leave the home just as I found it. I communicate regularly with photo/video updates and will be reachable at all times. For walks, I'm attentive and present the entire time, and always prioritize safety. I stay very aware of my surroundings, navigating the city streets and other dogs, and keep in mind specific instructions or needs shared for each dog.

Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up with dogs, cats, and everything from bunnies to parrots. I’ve owned or lived with 10+ dogs and cats, giving me experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I dog walk, pet sit, and board for friends and family, always keeping them safe, comfortable, active, and loved so owners can have real peace of mind. This past year, I was an important caretaker for my friend’s dog, Arthur, including a 10-night stay at their home, providing round-the-clock care and administering medication while he recovered from an injury. I also live with my roommate’s cat, who I am proudly godmother to, and help care for her daily. I'm the designated pet sitter of my friend group, and I’d love to bring that same level of care and reliability to the neighborhood. Animals are a true passion of mine and I can’t wait to help!

Katie has been wonderful with my dog Arthur. It is clear that she genuinely loves animals, and that gave me confidence leaving my pup with her. She kept me updated with daily photos (loved waking up to pics of Arthur every morning!) and when I returned home he didn't want her to leave! We have used her many times since, for sitting and walks, and Arthur gets the excited zoomies whenever he sees her. I can't recommend her enough
Katie dog sat our puppy while we were away on vacation for 10 days. She was very communicative and kept us updated throughout our trip with photos! We could tell our puppy really loved her and didn’t want her to leave. We are now using Katie as our primary dog walker and sitter!
I cannot recommend Katie highly enough. She has cared for my cat, Chitty, dozens of times, and she is one of the very few people I trust entirely with her care. Chitty is an undeniably high-maintenance senior kitty who requires prescription food, regular medication and someone who will pay close attention to her routines, moods and many strong opinions. Katie handles all of it with patience, confidence and genuine affection. She is exceptionally reliable, responsible and honest, and she never treats pet care like a checklist. She truly gets to know the animal, notices the little things and makes sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved. I always have complete peace of mind when Chitty is with her. Katie is so trusted in my family that she is literally Chitty’s legal godmother. (Yes, it’s true)! Any pet would be lucky to have her, and any owner can feel confident that their beloved animal is in the very best hands.
Katie has been a godsend for our dog, Lulu. She's a very loving caregiver in her life and we've enlisted her services frequently. She often takes her on long walks, and is much better at getting her to walk right beside her than we are. We also feel very fortunate to have someone as reliable and trustworthy as Katie available to come to our home to pet sit Lulu when we're away. We give Katie our highest recommendation.
