Pet care experience
After caring multiple pets over decades, I know how important personalized care is for each fur-baby. My current companion is a happy 10lb Jack Russell/Chi mix whose sole purpose in life is to play, play and play 😊 My love for pets started as a child, and later on my parents bred (champion) dachshunds and shitzus. Since then, I've bottle fed puppies and kittens 24/7, gone to numerous vet visits, handled post-surgery care, found creative ways for dogs to take their medicines and cared for pets until their senior years, including handicapped ones that lived happy long lives. Attending basic puppy training classes enabled me to train my dogs in basic commands and be aware of what to watch out for when caring for pets.

I recommend Katharine to the highest degree! She was extremely communicative and took great care of Romy! She made our time away much more relaxing knowing that Romy was in such great care. Added bonus that Romy had Whiskey as a playmate! Would definitely use Katharine again and could not recommend any more!
Committed dog cuddler, with the ability and experience to handle anything a dog's life throws at her. From pups to seniors, tiny Maltese to energetic Goldens, she's cuddled them all. Cleaning up messes, bathing stubborn pups, post-surgery care, dog PT, personalized (dog-ized?) meals, and the ever dreaded getting them to take their medicines, she's done it all. In her hands, your pup will receive every care they need and all the love they want.

Please let me know your pet’s feeding and potty schedule. Do they have treat allergies? Are dog parks ok? Do they have leash reactivity (lunge at some dogs), heat-sensitivity or toy guarding? Being aware of special needs or sensitivities helps me prepare and provide better care for your pet.
A typical day
We can go to a nearby small dog run, Fort Greene or explore shaded streets for your dog’s daily sniff-fix! My dog Whiskey is always up for new playmates to hang out with. For rainy days, I have dog puzzles, toys and a snuffle mat as enrichment activities.
