Hi! I’m Kate, and my husband Ben and I absolutely love dogs, even though our travel schedule means we don’t have one of our own (yet)! We got into dog sitting after watching one of our friends’ dachshund, and since then, we’ve found so much joy in dog-sitting. We live near Duboce Park and love taking long walks through the park and around our neighborhood, so your pup will get plenty of fresh air and exercise with us. We’re all about giving dogs lots of love, attention, and a cozy place to stay. Our goal is for your pup to be treated the way you would treat them at home!

Thrilled with sending our pup to stay with Kate (and Ben). We can tell our dog came back happy but not exhausted from stress. Kate was great at sending updates of their adventures and it was very clear she was properly spoiled with attention during her stay. Photos were regular which we were thrilled about. Gravy seemed to settle in very well. She actually ate on the first night there which never happens. Will 100% have Gravy stay there again.
Kate treats your pets like they are her own. She made my female dog feel so comfortable and loved, when we picked her up at the end of the stay, our dog seemed refreshed and happier than usual. She even sent sweet photo updates so we could see how settled in she was. Kate loves dogs and on top of that, she is a truly kind person. I wouldn’t choose anyone else for my pet. 10 of 10 experience!
Kate and her husband were so excellent! They asked all the right questions and took great care of my pup, who even developed a special attachment to them. Tons of photo updates, too!
I was in a huge bind and at 10 o’clock at night. Kate immediately responded to me saying that she could watch my dog for the day. Kaia has separation anxiety but immediately warmed up to Kate, which shows what a kind nature Kate has. She sent me lots of pictures and kept me updated. I was never worried about Kaia! If you ever need a dog sitter, I would not hesitate to call Kate. I will definitely be calling her again.

I work full time from home, so I have the availability to do a morning, afternoon, late afternoon, and evening walk! Walks will differ in length depending on purpose (pee/poop walk, or exercise).
