Pet care experience
I am a medical professional (MD, trained in pathology). I am a previous owner to two lovely mutts--Darcy and Ivo--who I adopted from animal rescue. I continued my involvement in animal welfare through fostering for an animal rescue, being incredibly lucky to have taken care of dogs--usually smaller mutts--in need of furr-ever homes. I am very responsible, communicative and transparent. While most of my experience is caring for smaller dogs, I am capable of caring for medium sized dogs as well. At minimum, I like to give the dogs I'm caring for at least 3 walks a day, based on their routine. My happiness comes from being around pups and I am very lonely without them--I plan on owning again soon later in the year.

I have known Kate for a number of years. During that time, she has always lived with at least one dog. She has helped to walk, feed and love Darcy and then Ivo. When she came to stay at my house for a short time, she was introduced to our two cats, kittens actually. Not everyone likes or gets along with cats, but Kate did. Kate would be a responsible and loving caregiver.
Kate is such a loving caring person, who watches my dogs and my cat. I feel the animals seem more excited to see her, then they are to see me sometimes! I would highly recommend using her to pet sit or spend time with any kind of animal.
As long as I have known Kate she has been an animal lover, especially dogs. I know she comes from a family that always had dogs so she knows all of the responsibilities that come with caring for them and how important it is too keep them on their normal routines. She has taken care of my family dog and I have recommended her to my friends when they need their dogs taken care of for a day or extended periods. Do not hesitate to ask Kate to care for your dogs, she is very responsible and understands what needs to be done.
