Pet care experience
I love animals and have volunteered at Middleburg Humane Shelter and fostered for them for the past 5 years. My favorite types of dogs are larger working dogs, but the smaller pups require a more delicate skill set that I'm thrilled to provide. I have experience with dog training and am able to be as strict or lax with your pets as you'd prefer.

Kate took great care of our two puppies while we had a busy few weeks with work. She always texted me an update and sent the most adorable photos. She’s great with large breeds and the girls just loved her!
Kate has been so responsive and helpful last minute. She spent time loving on our girl as well as caring for her needs!
I always go to Kate for my dog Rambo! She always makes sure to send me plenty of pictures and/or videos of him of him playing or on a walk. My dog (non-aggressive) needs eye drops every day twice a day and she does a great job with giving him those as well! Would definitely recommend:)

I have two cats and take care of my sister's German Shepherd mix and several horses. My sister and I do some agility work with the pup, and I love to take my cats on day trips with me- they both walk on a leash! I'm happy to send you all the pictures in the world of your animals while I'm with them, report to you the exact mileage of walks, and love to snuggle in bed with them if I'm house-sitting. I don't mind if you have cameras in your house to watch your pets; I just appreciate if they're in areas such as the living room or where your dog is most frequently.

I appreciate all medication and vet information, as well as an emergency contact, both on your application and written down at the house so I can account for any unforeseen events. If your pet is bad with other animals, specific demographics of people, or has any certain quirks that might catch me off guard, I'd love to know in advance- no judgment- my dog hates men in baseball hats!
A typical day
I set my alarms to whatever time your pet normally wakes up. Depending on your preferences, I'd love to take your dog to a dog park or body of water near your house or on a walk on a larger path nearby. If you and your pet prefer a homebody/stay-in style, I love nothing more than playing till they're tuckered out and then pet snuggles and watching a movie or reading a good book.

I'm around the Bethesda/Tysons Corner area and would be so happy to help you out with your travels! I work nights from around 6pm to 11pm, and would be unable to let your pets out during that time, but other than that am available.
