I’m a lifelong animal lover born and raised in El Paso, with 37 years of pet ownership, 9 years as an active rescuer with MuttLove Dog Rescue, and 6 years of professional experience as a veterinary technician for a local veterinarian. Animals have always been part of my life — my pets are truly my furbabies, and I care for every animal as if they were my own. I’m married to my best friend and a proud mom to a 19-year-old son, and our home is filled with love, patience, and understanding for animals of all backgrounds — especially rescues. In your home: *I follow your pet’s normal routine closely to reduce stress. *I provide regular updates, photos, and communication. *I respect your home and maintain a clean, safe environment *With my veterinary technician and rescue experience, I monitor pets closely for any health or behavioral changes and can administer medications as needed. Karla is the best cat sitter you could ask for. She goes above and beyond to ensure your pets are happy and safe. We couldn’t have asked for more. I was able to travel comfortably knowing our cats were in safe hands.
If I could give Karla 10 stars I would! She is hands fine the BEST sitter in the world. My four furbabies are not easy to deal with and she handled them like a champion. She cared for them and my house , like they were her own. I’ve never come home to my house looking so great! Karla is a keeper, for sure.
Karla took such good care of my two boy cats! She documented everything thoroughly and it felt comforting to know they were in good hands. We highly recommend Karla!
Karla is the most amazing dog sitter we have ever had. She is so calm and understanding about my reactive rescue dogs. She is very detail oriented and is on top of everything regarding the dogs and my house. 5 stars is not enough, I’d give her 20 stars if I could!
Karla was amazing with my 2 dogs. She was on time, stayed longer to give them time to potty, and gave them a lot of love. She went above and beyond and wiped their paws, picked up poop, dried them from the bad weather this weekend, and got them toys. She sent updates, pictures and videos every visit. She also left us a beautiful thank you card with pictures of my babies. I would recommend her to everyone and will be booking her again soon.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work from home during the day, which allows me to provide frequent check-ins, potty breaks, feeding, medication administration, and lots of attention throughout the day—not just mornings and evenings. Because animals have always been part of my life, my schedule already revolves around their needs. I plan my workday around walks, playtime, meals, and any special routines your pet may have. Evenings and weekends are fully dedicated to pet care, enrichment, and companionship. For house sitting, I’m able to stay in the home (with reliable internet) and maintain your pet’s normal routine in a calm, familiar environment. For drop-ins and walks, I’m punctual, consistent, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and routine are always my priority.
