Pet care experience
I grew up with both cats and dogs. I really enjoy hanging out with pets and bringing them on walks. I started walking dogs and cat sitting for friends and family in the last few years and have really enjoyed it! Now I spend a lot of time training and hiking with my dog Juneau!

Karl took care of our dog Koda for a last minute trip. He came over before the scheduled sit to do a meet and greet which we really appreciated. As our first Rover experience, we were assured with Karl's experience with dogs including his own. We came back to a happy and healthy Koda!
Karl is great!! He quickly became friends with my dog and gave her a combinations of walks and playtime, which is exactly what she likes. He’s highly communicative and genuinely pleased to spend time with dogs! I’d recommend him easily to anyone.

I will mostly be caring for pets in they're home or on walks so I'm flexible to the needs of the pet and pet owner. I know pets can get quite bored or lonely so I like to spend a bit of extra time with them.

I would need to know how the dog interacts with other dogs, people and children. I would also like to have an idea of the dogs history but medical and otherwise.
A typical day
Bring dogs to the park or on a hike are normally the best! It all depends on the dog, but runs, hikes or playing fetch in the park/parks are great. Malcom x park and rock creek are two of my favorites!

I'm a full time grad student and work from home most days. My schedule is flexible so I would love to break up my work day with pet sitting!
