I have lots of time to dedicate to walking dogs individually. My days for walking are Monday to Friday and I’m available from a 7am start until a 6pm finish, with 6pm being the end time of the walk.

If ever required due to adverse weather conditions or other reasons, I am able to come to your home to allow your dog some comfort breaks and company. I am happy to play with them in the house or garden in these instances depending on what your requirements are. Currently I am not offering care in my home.

If you are interested in my service I would request a meet and greet beforehand so we can make sure everyone, especially your dog, is happy for the walks to go ahead. During this meeting you can let me know if there is anything I need to know about your dog that may affect the walk such as health conditions, preferred places to walk, nervous of other dogs, reactive behaviour, whether they have treats while walking etc, and also if they have a tendency to eat food they may come across on a walk. I will endeavour to keep your dog as happy as possible on our solo strolls.
Ein typischer Tag
Your dog will be walked in your neighbourhood to your own preference; if they like long walks in a nearby woods, I will provide that or if they prefer a short pavement walk I can accommodate that also. I will offer a variety of walks, taking different routes and visiting different places (depending on the length of the walk and what is available in your neighbourhood) which will keep your dog (and me!) happy and well exercised. I would like to state that even if your dog is good off the lead, I will keep them on a lead during our walks for yours and my peace of mind, but do not worry, they will still be getting lots of exercise. If your dog is unable to walk for whatever reason, I am able to offer drop in sessions where I can spend some time in your home with your dog, playing if they are up to it or just for a snuggle and a toilet break if that is what is required. I am also qualified in dog first aid and emergency care and will have a dog first aid kit with me whether walking or dropping in to care for your dog. Hopefully I will never need to use it, but just in case.

Solo walks for small dogs. Just your dog everytime

My experience in dog walking comes from owning and caring for dogs of all ages since I was a child and helping out friends and family with walking their dogs when required. I am currently mum to a 13 year old Border Terrier called Boo who still loves to run around a field, walk through the woods or stroll along a beach and we enjoy many happy walks together. I decided to become a solo dog walker, only walking one dog at a time, because I feel there is a need for this; I personally would only want Boo to be solo walked, some dogs and owners just prefer it that way. This enables me to give my undivided attention to just your dog. I am also happy to walk two small dogs from the same household. I am currently enjoying solo walks with my regular dogs and I have also had some lovely one off walks helping people out when their dog walker is unavailable; and I still have time and space for more! So if you have a small dog that requires some solo walking, I’ll be happy to help. I will also consider some medium sized dogs, depending on breed and strength of the dog. Please be aware that I will always keep your dog on a lead during our walks. If this sounds like something you feel your dog would benefit from, let me know and I’ll be more than happy to help.

Karen is such a lovely girl. Our Crumble gets so excited to see her and loves his walks. Karen is so friendly and cares about the dogs she walks. We wouldn’t want anyone else to walk Crumble we trust her explicitly. We can highly recommend Karen she deserves more than 5 stars.
I truly have no words for Karen. On a really difficult day, when a friend who was supposed to pick up my dog couldn’t come due to medical issues, Karen went above and beyond. She made sure to check on my dog and even put a jumper on her because it was cold outside. That level of care and thoughtfulness honestly warmed my heart. She treats my dog as if she were her own, and I couldn’t be more grateful. The best dog walker ever, I genuinely cannot recommend her highly enough.
