Hi! I’ve taken many fosters and began caring for dogs in 2020 when for a brief period the world felt depressive. Dogs have such special unconditional love for their owners! And I can imagine if you’re on here you’re looking for someone who wouldn’t make them feel your absence. I don’t have any dogs of my own. So I’ll spoil your pup within your and my boundaries. I will do my best to not create any bad habits here. All I ask is that you give me all the details I need to know and of course I’ll provide photos while they stay! I live in a single story 3 bedroom home with hard floors and carpet in the bedrooms. There are a couple of steps on my back patio to get to my large fenced and shaded yard. I keep a clean home and prioritize cleaning once a week as a norm. I no longer own any crates so they are welcome. Please bring bowls, crate/ blankets if you are able. I have cared for senior dogs and special need babies in the past and feel comfortable administering medication.

Karen was absolutely fantastic taking care of our baby! Her communication is amazing and kept us up to date constantly with photos and updates about his food, sleep and other things. I felt so bad because I forgot to leave toys for our little guy, but Karen was so kind and even offered to buy a stuffy and chew toy for him. This meant the world to us! He was so happy when we picked him up and you co he had a fantastic time at Karen's . We will definitely leave our puppy with Karen in the future!
We had such a great experience! She was fantastic at communicating throughout the entire stay and kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. She also made sure our dog got plenty of walks and attention, and it was clear she genuinely cared about her well being. We came home to a happy, well loved pup, and we couldn’t be more grateful. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring dog sitter!

Karen is super responsive, accommodating, and I can tell she is a true animal lover. I had no hesitation leaving my two fur babies in her care. She sent lots of photos and updates throughout their stay. 10/10 recommend!
Karen was a wonderful sitter to our two dogs. She has a caring disposition and strong communication skills. We enjoyed our daily update & photos on our pups while we were away. The dogs looked completely comfortable and happy in her care. I would 10000% rebook again without hesitation.
Karen was great! Easy to communicate with about drop off/pick up logistics & updates. She gave our girls lots of love while we were away, which makes it so much easier to enjoy being away. We would definitely use her again.

Schedule
A 15-20 minute walk in the morning is a must to start the day and the best way to end the night. I am currently unemployed while working on a pivot in my career in real estate. I leave the house for the gym, groceries and the occasional errand or outing. Available all day on weekends. I am active and also love to run if your dog is high energy and loves it as much as I do, we’ll go together.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a back yard that’s maintained and also have cameras to watch the dogs while (if) I’m away. My neighbors on both sides do not have animals. Your pup may sleep in a crate at night unless they cry… we will work something out if they’re well behaved. For safety and privacy reasons, I don’t allow clients inside my home. I will provide photos of where your dog will be sleeping/staying upon request.
A typical day
Only if discussed, I will take pups downtown to the pearl or La cantera during the weekend if the weather permits. I love morning or late night walks/run around my neighborhood.
