A typical day for me as a dog walker/sitter starts with morning walks, ensuring each dog gets exercise and bathroom breaks. By midday, I check on the pets, refilling water bowls and providing meals as per instructions. In the afternoon, I offer another round of walks and playtime, focusing on each pet’s specific needs and preferences. In the evenings, I take them out for final bathroom breaks, feed them, and make sure all pets are comfortably settled. Throughout the day, I give them plenty of affection and attention to ensure they are happy and well-cared for.

Hi! I’m a work-from-home mom looking to make a little extra by doing something I’ve always loved—taking care of animals. I have a lot of past experience, including working for a local petsitting company where I learned how to properly handle animals and give medication when needed. Your pet will have a cozy home to relax in and a big yard to play in. Just a heads up that I do have a young child and other animals here, so pets who are good with kids and other pets usually do best. My main goal is to make sure your pet is happy, healthy, and comfortable while you’re away. If they need anything special, I’m happy to help. I offer dog walking, dog boarding, doggy day-care, and I always like to meet you and your pet ahead of time so everyone feels comfortable. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

Kara has been an incredible dog walker for our energetic pit-mix. He’s a puller on the leash and she did a fantastic job with him. She was always on time, friendly and communicative, and she sent the sweetest pictures each time, too! Any dog owner would be lucky to have Kara help out.
Kara did amazing with drop-ins with our rescue dog Maggie! Kara did a great job to consider Maggie’s nervous behavior around new people and other dogs. Kara was very responsive and always mixed things up to keep Maggie enriched and entertained. We definitely had a nice peace of mind while we were away on vacation.
Kara was an excellent dog walker for our dog Penny and went above and beyond her tasks to ensure she was well taken care of!
