Home full-time - fenced yard
We LOVE dogs and have a city sized house full of people that love giving them attention! We have 2 school age children but are home full time in the summer with a good sized fenced backyard and our own friendly pups, Oli and Lulu. I (Kara) grew up always having a dog in the family, and as soon as I could, I acquired one of my own. I've learned that dogs need people, but people need dogs just as much. All this to say, we can't imagine a world without these furry little companions! With many attentive people in our household, your dog will never have needs unmet. Whether it be snuggles, toys, pets, walks, playtimes, food... be assured we can handle it! We can't wait to meet your dog!

I cannot say enough good things about Kara and Adam. I have been consistently using their family for the past two years and have never had anything but great experiences. I always get a flood of pictures from Kara of her and her family loving on my dog. It is such a good feeling to see how excited my dog gets when we pull up to their house and makes leaving her for trips a little bit easier.
Mr. Pumpkin was well taken care of on his first daycare experience. As a 12yo Schnoodle, he loves attention, and came home exhausted after a full day of attention, walks and play.
This was absolutely the best place we could ever ask for Laci to have stayed while we were away. I would definitely have Kara and Adam watch our pup again. Kara is so sweet and kept us updated with messages and pics. It was a bonus with them having children who are very nice for Laci too. I can’t say enough on how thankful we are to them for caring for Laci. We definitely want them again!
As usual, Hopps has the best times with Kara & Adam. He goes on walks and is Kara’s shadow throughout the day so he comes home exhausted!

I was from out of state and needed a sitter to watch our dog for the day while we toured a college. Adam and Kara where available on short notice and took great care of Marlie. Thank you.

Schedule
We both work in education, so our summers are very open & flexible and offer so many opportunities for dog walks, dog parks, pet cuddles, etc.

We have a fenced back yard and get on many outings with our own high energy dog. We do on long walks daily and often to the off leash dog park (if your dog is licensed in Minneapolis).

A typical day
Playtime in the backyard with Oli, Lulu, and family. Walks through the neighborhood and along the Mississippi river on quiet city streets. Lots of dog toys and comfy couches for naps. Off leash dog park for extra stimulation.
