Large Fenced in Yards near AVL ✈️
Located just a five minute drive from Asheville airport ✈️ I love dogs, and have the greatest intent to provide them with all of the friendship and care that they need. We have two separately fenced in yards on a half acre of land that are perfect for dogs to roam, run, and relax in. The large backyard is perfect for active dogs, while our smaller front yard is designated for our smallest and most delicate dogs. Our front patio is also fenced in, which helps ensure that dogs cannot easily escape from our property. My husband, Mark, has also had pets for most of his life, and enjoys helping me with your pups whenever he is at home with us! We are a synthetic-fragrance-free, smoke free, herbicide and pesticide free home! We aim for a low-toxin life for ourselves and our furry friends! **I do not offer house sitting** **I do not offer rides to and from the airport!** **I am no longer accepting dogs over 40lbs** I do have a dog of my own, Bruce the mini schnauzer, who socializes well with other dogs. He is getting older, and I cannot guarantee that he will play with your dog. He is always kind; although, he does not appreciate dogs that jump up in his face or sniff certain areas of his body for too long. Bruce also loves to bark when he meets new people! We are a very active family and love to get the dogs outside for play time! That being said, we also love dogs who enjoy chilling out and curling up on the sofa together. Whatever kind of activity suits your dog best, we can match their energy and make sure they have the best stay! :)

We had a wonderful experience with KaLynn on Rover! She cared for our 10-year-old beagle for a full week while we were in Germany, and we couldn’t have asked for a better situation—especially now that he’s in his senior years. In the past, traditional boarding environments were very stressful for him. Being around too many dogs and confined to a suite would cause him to bark excessively, sometimes even losing his voice. We knew we needed something more personal and calm, and KaLynn provided exactly that. Her home environment was perfect—peaceful, welcoming, and much more like what he’s used to. She also has a beautiful, large backyard where he could safely enjoy time outside with a smaller group of dogs, which made a huge difference in his comfort level. Knowing he was in such a caring, low-stress setting gave us real peace of mind while we were away. We’re so grateful for the attention and compassion she showed him. We would highly recommend her and absolutely trust her again with our senior pup! Thank you KaLynn for caring of our boy, Copper!💙
KaLynn went above and beyond for Reggie while we were on vacation. It was his first time staying overnight away from us and he has some nervous tendencies… she did everything possible to make him comfortable. She kept us updated daily and was quick to respond! By the end of the week it sounds like he really opened up and was even playing with the other dogs at the house. Great experience!!
Absolutely thrilled with how well Reggie’s doggie day care went. He’s a nervous little guy and KaLynn and Mark went above and beyond to make him comfortable. Their house is set up perfectly for dogs. Reggie was extra confident when we got him home :)
KaLynn is the best!! She takes amazing care of our Yorkie Freckles. We don’t have to worry about Freckles at all.
KaLynn was wonderful! Our senior papillon doesn't eat normally while away from home and KaLynn worked very hard to take good care of him. She gave us regular updates and sent pictures. She was kind and thoughtful. I would recommend her highly!

I am home almost all day and every day. Dog sitting is one of my greatest joys, and I've decided to do it full time. If I step out to run errands, I do have a camera to keep an eye on your dog.

Our home is quiet and peaceful. When the weather is warm enough, we like to leave the screen windows open so that we can get some fresh air and listen to the birds. We also have a bird feeder on our patio, and most dogs enjoy watching the birds come and go. If your dog is anxious, I like to play music that is designed to help them stay relaxed. If your dog enjoys watching TV, I also like to play "dog TV" for them. Light-up collars are provided for your dogs to wear at night so we can see them easily. Your dog will only be fed the food/treats that they are sent with. Dogs can have sensitive stomaches and diets just like people, and I make sure they stick to the diet that your dog is on. I also keep a close eye on everyone during meal times. "Food aggressive" dogs are fed in a closed off room to ensure the safety of other dogs.

Your dog will always be under responsible supervision. I am home almost all day, but I do have cameras so I can keep an eye on your pup while I step out to run errands. Your dog will get plenty of fresh air and exercise during their stay. If your dog prefers to relax and take it easy, I’m happy to give them plenty of cuddles!
