I’m very disappointed with my experience and would not book this sitter again. Prior to the stay, I communicated clearly that one of my dogs is a senior and needs frequent potty breaks. The sitter confirmed she was comfortable with this. Unfortunately, the care provided did not align with what was agreed upon. Communication during the stay was minimal. I received only one photo (which did not include the dogs), and there was a full day where I did not hear from her at all and had to follow up. This was concerning, especially since I was traveling. Midway through the stay, the sitter informed me that she was experiencing severe back pain and could not sleep in my home, which was not discussed or agreed to beforehand. This came as a surprise, as when I had checked in with her earlier after not hearing from her, she indicated that everything was fine. This raised concerns about how much time she was actually present with my dogs. When my cousin arrived to pick them up early, there was dog feces throughout the house that had to be cleaned up. I had also provided real grass pads specifically for potty use, which makes me concerned that the dogs were not being let out or given adequate bathroom breaks. As a result of these issues, I had to scramble to find alternative care while I was away. Thankfully, my cousin was available to step in, but this caused unnecessary stress. There were also professionalism concerns prior to the stay. The sitter missed our originally scheduled meet-and-greet and did not follow up to reschedule until the following day. When we did meet, I booked and paid for a 30-minute meet-and-greet so she could review care instructions and spend time with my dogs. However, she shared during the visit that she had another appointment she was running late to and only had a few minutes available. This prevented us from properly going over instructions or allowing her to spend meaningful time with the dogs. My dogs are ultimately okay, but the experience caused significant stress and did not meet expectations for in-home pet care. I would not recommend this sitter, especially for senior dogs or pets that require consistent attention and presence.

I am delighted to provide a reference for Kalli as I believe she would be a very responsible, loving dog caregiver and/or cat sitter. Kalli lived in our household and was in direct contact with our three cats on a daily basis and on occasions when we would leave town, we left Kalli in charge of the care of the three cats. We were always provided a recap of how they had behaved, their appetites and food consumption, and any problems or issues between the cats that she noticed. She was always, without fail, loving, sweet and kind to all of the cats. It is her nature, really. She is a lovely young woman; a dedicated professional; reliable and mature beyond her years. I would absolutely recommend her without reservation.
