Ever since I was young, I’ve loved and had a curiosity for all types of animals. I’ve been pet sitting for almost 10 years and I’ve enjoyed the bond I’ve made with every single pet and owner I've encountered throughout that time. It’s a big deal to find someone trustworthy enough to be able to watch what is basically your child! Every service I provide is catered individually based on the needs of the pets so that pet parents can feel relaxed while they're away. I bond with every pet on a personal level so they know they can trust me and get their own version of relaxation while their family is away. I do my best to accommodate all needs because I know no two clients are the same.

Kalene watched my dog 4 nights and I couldn’t be more thankful. I was worried at first being away from my dog so long but she sent pictures and was in communication so it made it feel less stressful for me. My dog even made it a little hard on her at times and she handled it all very well.
Kalene is amazing! She stayed at our house with Rusty while we were away and took such good care of him!!

Having worked with dogs for so long, I have a keen eye when it comes to body language and preventative safety measures. We make sure to separate dogs during feeding times to ensure there are no issues. Everyone is entitled to their own space and personalized care/schedule. There are also plenty of toys and treats to go around!

I have no breed preferences but I do like to know about their temperaments and how they interact with other animals (dogs, cats, etc). I also like to know if they are housebroken so that I can help with training if needed. I’m comfortable with teeny tiny animals and enormous ones. No discrimination here!
A typical day
I live in a nice, quiet neighborhood that is conveniently located near Goffinsville which has some nice walking trails. The yard is large and perfect for lounging around and soaking up the sun or for playing fetch with friends. I'm looking to add some kiddie pools and possibly some platforms and ramps for added exercise in the next month or so.

Availability
I work 3-4 short shifts per week about 10 minutes up the road. My fiancé is also very involved in our in home pet care and has experience working at a local doggy daycare. I am looking to transition down to 1-2 shifts per week at work to focus more on being an at home pet sitter once I have consistent clientele.
