Since I am currently self-employed with reliable transportation, my schedule is extremely flexible. I have two dogs and two cats that I care for daily, but they are low maintenance and do not require much time.

Boarding will be done on 5.5 acres in Freshwater, set back in the woods with plenty of land for your fur-baby to roam free. We have gated, open top areas as well as a temperature controlled garage set up if your pet needs isolation or time away from the other animals. When walking, during drop-in visits, or on overnight stays in your home, I will adhere to all requests and ensure your furbaby enjoys themselves in your absence!

PLEASE inform me of any health or behavioral issues ahead of time. I am experienced and comfortable handling high-energy and untrained animals, so don’t worry that you will be disqualified for that. I want to ensure the best relationship possible with the least amount of stress on everyone involved.

Depending on your furry friends favorite activities, we’ll do anything from walks along the river, beach or through the redwoods, and even play fetch and use mentally stimulating treat toys. We can also absolutely walk in their neighborhood, if that’s where they’re most comfortable.

Since I was old enough to pull myself up by the hindquarters of the family dog, I have shared a special connection with animals. Well versed in the needs of our furry friends, no pet is too much for my care. Experienced in special need care for animals - including but not limited to insulin administration. I also have formal training as an assistant vet tech and have volunteered at the ASPCA for years.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience than with Kaitlyn. She was quick to respond to every message from the first contact and answered all of my many questions, addressed my concerns and then followed through exactly the same way until we returned to a cleaner, more calm home with 2 happy dogs, 2 birds and a goldfish. My son got his very own videos of his fish, Goldie, while we were away; it made his day every time. My crazy bird got to FaceTime with me while spending hours and hours just hanging out with Kaitlyn and our dogs; she didn’t get angry when he bit her or screamed at her and now he adores her. She took them on walks, on adventures and took such amazing care…. She brought in packages, mail, took out the trash, stayed at our house and took care of it, too. My family really enjoyed being away and not worrying about anything at home. I won’t need to look for anyone else to trust our lives with when we need to be away. Thank you, Kaitlyn.
