Pet care experience
I’ve had my dog since he was 10 weeks old and he is almost 11 now. I treat my dog as if he was my child and that’s how I treat every dog I take care of. I watch my sister and parent’s dogs frequently as well so I am used to taking care of 3 dogs on my own at one time. Our dogs are a part of the family and even go on vacation with us! I’d love to take care of your pet for walks and visits to get them out while you are gone!

Kaitlyn is the best caregiver! Not only does her career in nursing speak to her natural caregiving abilities, but her love for pets and attention to detail make her my go to whenever I need someone to watch my sweet yellow lab baby when I’m out of town. Kaitlyn has watched my dog both by coming to my house to care for her and by taking my dog to her home for longer stays. My dog even has some health issues that require extra attention and administration of medication, and I always trust Kaitlyn to not only take care of her daily basic needs and health issues, but also to love on her and spend quality time with her. Kaitlyn’s diligence, attention and innate caring nature make her unmatched for pet sitting and I highly recommend her to anyone looking!

Let me know if your dog does have any special needs or behaviors I need to be aware of. My dog can be anxious around new people so I am very familiar with how dogs can be. I am available to come meet your dog for a few visits before walking or visiting with them so don’t hesitate to reach out! I am a nurse who is in graduate school and have worked ED and ICU. If there are any medical needs just instruct me on how to do them and I can take care of it!
A typical day
I can take your dogs for walks and play with them with their toys! I can even take your dogs on little field trips to get pup cups or to the park for a walk! If I am with your dog frequently and I can introduce him to my dog, your dog can come to my house that has a fenced in backyard! I love sitting on my back deck so if your dog loves being outside that is no problem! I admit I spoil dogs so much that I set up a fan to keep my parents dog cool during hot days when all she wants to do is sit in the shade on my deck! Haha If all your dog wants to do is snuggle and wants pets all day, that’s fine too!

Availability
I’m currently in graduate school at UC and my visits will depend on when I have class during the week. School is my full-time job so when I’m not in class I can be available for pet visits.
