Hi! I’m Kai. I’ve been a Rover sitter since 2019 and absolutely love it! I adore dogs of all sizes, breeds, backgrounds, and ages. My experience includes boarding, walks, house-sitting, puppies, and administering medicine to dogs who are anxious or just of old age. Rescue animals have a special place in my heart, because when I was in middle school, my family adopted a sweet, anxiety-ridden terrier. She had not just mental trauma, but physical trauma, and coming from a similar background, we became inseparable. When I moved out of the house, I was lucky enough to take her with me, caring for her through the end of her life, as she lost the ability to see, walk, and eventually eat. I miss her every day, but I feel so lucky to be able to meet and care for so many other animals! My boyfriend and I have a Rottweiler at home, which is why I do housesitting and not boarding. Plus, it’s nice for your pet to be in an environment they’re familiar with and comfortable in.
