Safety, trust & environment
I prefer to dog sit at a client’s home as my family has dogs and 2 that are dog selective. My family also owns parrots and that would be an issue if any of my clients animals like to chase birds or smaller animals. I want to provide complete safety and comfortability for my client’s fur babies and mine as well!
Information Jyselle L. would like to know about your pet
Any extra or unique traits or quirks about the clients animals. If they need to take medications and different habits that might be normal for the clients pet. Walking habits or need more attention and needs to fulfill every hour or so can be helpful. Also any emergency contacts or veterinary hospital contacts.
A typical day
I love to be able to get them out and play with them as much as possible. Training dogs takes a lot of patience and makes it more fun when they learn cool tricks. I’ve recently looked into puzzle games for mental stimulation, and lick mats to do instead of being bored and being destructive. Getting to learn about their likes and boundaries from sitter to clients pets are apart of a typical day to make sure they are comfortable and safe.

Pet care experience
I have recently finished an externship at a veterinarian clinic and now am a Certified Veterinarian Assistant. I wish to continue to pursue this path and I take a great interest in any animals wellbeing. I have trained and learned through many dogs since I was 11, even my own. Friends and family rely and trust me to take care of their animals. I always make sure with owners about their personalities, habits, diet, medications, schedules that work for them, and any activities or exercises their dogs need! Working and caring for these animals and getting the opportunity to intern is so special to me. Additionally, I have very good knowledge of parrots as my family owns a few! Training I am still learning about everyday but I enjoy learning and broadening my knowledge about them. Their diet is more complicated and diverse than dogs and I am more than willing to share what I know!

Reviews
Jyselle L. cancelled a booking 2 days before it was scheduled to begin.
She did a great job!! My cat has diabetics so needs shots 12 hr apart and can be stubborn about it. Jyselle was very communicative and took great care to make sure my cat was taken care of.

Jyselle house sat for us and took care of our cat and dog. She was fantastic and did a great job caring for our pets while we were away. My pets immediately felt comfortable with Jyselle when she first came to meet them. She sent me updates every day and a few pictures. Jyselle also went above and beyond and left the trash out to be picked up when she noticed it was trash day. I would definitely use Jyselle again if I needed a dog/cat/house sitter or dog walker.

Jyselle did an amazing job! She is a top notch communicator and took wonderful care of my senior dog while I was away. I highly recommend!
