Will love your dog at first sight
Pet care experience
I’ve always had a dog as a part of my life growing up ever since I was 6. In more recent years, I was the co-pet parent of a dog for roughly 3 years, and I’d like to think he turned out pretty well. I have some decent knowledge and experience when it comes to handling and training dogs, namely by encouraging desired behaviors through positive reinforcement. While my experience may not be the most comprehensive, I’d like to think I more than make up for it with my love for dogs! Some day I’d love to have one of my own, but with my current life schedule and commitments, it’s just not in the cards for me. I’ve recently had the privilege of dipping my toes into fostering pups, which has taught me a lot about caring for a dog by myself. In the meantime, I’m perfectly content walking, caring for, and loving your dog just as if it was my own!
Reviews
For context, Mochi has a hard time trusting males but she warmed up to Justin very quickly. He’s been amazing in helping walk her, feed her, and even keeping her company. He’s one of few people I don’t need to constantly check my phone or follow up constantly to see if something went wrong. Trust Justin with confidence!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fairly good understanding of dog body language and mannerisms and will, under no circumstances, put your dog in any position of discomfort in your home or on our walks. I will be sure to give your dog plenty of attention and playtime, but not to the extent that the dog feels uncomfortable or threatened by me. When it comes to walks, your dog is the boss-it’s their time to sniff, exercise, and do their business while I’m just along to chaperone them. That being said, I’ll make sure to avoid any altercations with other dogs or people by limiting those interactions on walks.
Information Justin S. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that I need to account for. I have a preference for dogs that are mostly okay with strangers (especially as I’m a large man) and have some degree of leash control. I’m also much more accustomed to caring for low-medium energy dogs, but I will do my best to make sure any of your dog’s needs are met.
A typical day
A typical drop-in visit or walk would be all about the dog—giving the dog the attention it needs, stimulating the dog physically and mentally with toys, walks, playtime, and maybe even some trick training! Like I said before, walks with your dogs are all about your dog’s time; I’m just along for the ride to make sure they get to express themselves and do their business in a way that’s safe for them and everyone else around them.

Availability
I currently work full time 9-5 M-F, but I do have periods of flexibility when I can come walk/pet sit during the day. I do have some after work commitments during the week days, but they’re relatively minimal, flexible, and I’m willing to work with you to find out what works best for you, me, and your pup!
