We offer: • sitting for only your pet(s) at a time • a detached house with fenced backyard (4 ft. chain link, pets are monitored closely) • remote work 75% of the week (2 mornings at the office) sometimes with coverage by partner • no kids or pets of our own at home • dogs allowed on furniture • no smoking Eric and I LOVE all dogs, big and small. We both have a lot of experience with dogs and really enjoy being around them. I fostered a sweet girl from BARK and we worked together over several months to help her become more socialized and confident so she could find her forever home - which she did! Another sweet foster girl from RACC found her furever home within a week because she got along with our previous kitty so well. I love positive reinforcement training so much I trained my cats. Cats *can* be trained for sure, but we have no pets at this time. NOTE: the rate for dogs from smoking homes will be 50% more.

Another wonderful time with Julie and Eric!! Luna loves her stays while Mom and Dad are away. Julie is great about posting pics and giving daily check-ins. Luna is happy to go there and is calm and relaxed when we collect her.😁
Julie was so accommodating and sweet with our little Lola. Having a backyard to run around in was great! We’ll definitely be having Julie watch Lola anytime we are headed out of town!

My fur-child Jetson had a great 4 day stay at Julie"s place. She kept my mind at ease by sending lots of updates and pictures while he was in her care. She also was great at making sure he stayed on his medication and letting me know exactly how she was handling his anxiety and health concerns. I was so comfortable with her care of him and will be sure to book her again in the future!

I care for your pets like I would care for my own - they will be able to hang out with us in the house or, if they want, go outside into the four-foot chain link fenced backyard, where they’ll be monitored. If your pup likes it, we will spend quite a bit time outside when the weather is cooperative and mosquitoes are at a minimum.

I would like to know about your dog’s energy level and what kinds of activities they enjoy so we can try to make their stay with us enjoyable.
A typical day
We generally just hang out but the large backyard allows for lots of running and play; we may take walks around the neighborhood or in nearby Byrd Park as well if your dog enjoys that. We have a medium chuckit ball thrower that gets lots of use.

I work mainly remotely except a couple of mornings a week (except state holidays) so will be here to watch your dog the majority of the time, and sometimes Eric can cover those times. We only take reservations from one pet family at a time, so if you have one dog, it will be the only dog in the house. Your pets are allowed to be on the furniture except in the bed when we are sleeping, but they can be close by.
