Pet care experience
Having grown up with a golden retriever and lab, I've always loved dogs. We recently lost our 13.5 year old Labradoodle and miss having dogs around the house (but we aren't ready to become full-time parents again). I work from home and would love some company either while you're at work or traveling. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, and can accomodate special needs (towels to help walk on floors, medicine schedules, etc.). We have an 8-year old son who loves dogs and we live in a very dog-friendly neighborhood with lots of parks. We are also very active so can take plenty of walks/runs together, too.

Julie is a wonderful dog sitter! She came for a visit and immediately sat on the floor to interact with my dog, Miles! He took to her right away and I knew he was in good hands. When the time came to drop Miles off Julie was warm and welcoming. She is definitely a dog person - not phased by the fact that we hadn’t bathed Miles in a while, not phased by the fact that he is 108 lbs, and not afraid of the mess and fur of a big slobbery lab! She and her son took such great care of Miles - sending us lots of pictures, taking him on plenty of walks, and giving him tons of love! Not only is Julie great with dogs, but she is a lovely person as well and her son is super mature! I look forward to having Julie as our go-to dog sitter going forward! Thank you, Julie!!!

Julie was AMAZING with Mochi. We did a meet and greet the day before, and I knew right away Mochi would be in good hands. Julie was super communicative, sent lots of updates throughout, and showed Mochi so love. Would definitely recommend her!
I highly recommend using Julie for your dog sitting needs! She has been watching my dog for about 3 years and is wonderful! Most importantly, my dog loves her! When I pick her up after our trips she isn't ready to leave. Julie is very active and can accomodate my dog's high energy with multiple long walks each day and even takes her on runs. She is very responsible, friendly, and loving. I feel very happy and safe knowing my fur baby is in her care.

A typical day
We can do short or long walks depending on the dog's needs and owner's preferences. We live near dog beach, hiking trails, and have a very walkable neighborhood with plenty of other doogies out strolling. As I mentioned, I work from home so they can sit with me and cuddle all day if they like.

A senior dog parent myself, we have a daily routine of walks, medicine, and play time. I work from home full time so taking potty and exercise breaks isn't a problem.
