Though I'm new to Rover, I've been pet-sitting for neighbors and friends for 10+ years! I've taken care of dogs, cats, llamas, goats, and more. I've lived my whole life with dogs and cats of all ages, so I'm familiar with puppy/kitten and senior care. I know how to give medications including oral, topical, and injectable. I love animals and I promise to give your pets the same love and compassionate care I give my own!

I believe it's most ideal for your pet if they can stay in their home environment and keep to their usual routine while you're away. If your dog likes to visit a certain tree on all their walks, or your cat gets a treat at a specific time each day, let me know! Please also share any quirks, anxieties, medical problems, or anything else special about your pet so I can cater to their individual needs.

Julia is an outstanding pet care provider! We have two dogs who struggle with anxiety and reactivity and she did wonderfully well with them our first time away in a new home! She is super detailed, followed their routines and training protocols to a T, and was very patient with each of them. She also won over the heart of one of our cats who rarely gives affection to people she doesn't know. Our animals loved her. Highly recommend Julia as a sitter for dogs and cats with special needs!
Julia has dog sit for me multiple times. One particular time, she stayed with my dog for a whole week while I was on vacation. She provided exceptional care for my sweet pup. Every day I was gone she would send me pictures and give me updates on how he was doing. My dog gets excited every time he sees her and she makes sure to spend extra time petting him and playing with him outside of her required duties...walking, feeding, etc. I have seen her interact with my dog as well as other animals, and I can tell she genuinely has a love for animals, and animals have a love for her. I would trust her with my dog any day and know that she would go above and beyond. Julia is the first person I ask when I need help with my pup. She is an excellent communicator and is very flexible. I would recommend Julia in a heartbeat, she is wonderful!

Schedule
I'm currently working part time, so I have a pretty flexible schedule. I may be able to accommodate some last-minute requests, especially for drop-ins or dog walking. I live in Greene County, but I commute to Harrisonburg when I'm working so I can potentially take bookings around that area as well. PLEASE NOTE: I cannot hold dates for a pending request indefinitely. If your intention is to book with me, please confirm the booking as soon as you can so I can update my availability accordingly both on Rover and with my other job. Prompt communication is greatly appreciated!
