I currently work minimal hours at home and make my own schedule so I have plenty of time to give your pup one on one attention. I have the unique capability of creating my schedule to whatever your pet needs.

I live in a 2 story home with a fenced in yard in Southwest Columbia. I currently go for 2 longer walks a day myself and love the outdoors so if that’s what your pup is into to we can spend a lot of time outside, whether that’s on walks, hikes, at the park, or a visit to the dog park. I promise they will get the exercise required for their needs. And if they are an elderly dog or just a dog that doesn’t like a lot of outdoor time we can spend plenty of time cuddling too. My neighborhood is wonderful community away from main roads. If required, I do have the ability to kennel if I needed to leave however, if you dog does fine out of the kennel that’s perfectly fine. I have lots of experience giving medication and making special diet meals as well.

It would be helpful to know if your dog has any special needs, their feeding schedule, a list of vets and or persons in case of emergency, and their favorite habits, snacks, toys. I ask that dogs be well groomed and bathed before coming over for their stay.

I walk twice a day myself and if your dog would enjoy that they are encouraged to come with me. I love playing with the pups in my back yard.

I have had and taken care of dogs since I was young. I have rescued and kept or fostered over 2 dozen dogs. I have cared for dogs from puppy to senior. I have been part of training dogs, nursing stray dogs back to healthy, caring for dogs after major surgeries, and caring for senior dogs. My furbabies have filled my heart whole. Now I find myself for the 1st time in my life without a pup by my side, except when I get to watch my granddog (which I do every chance given). When I have a dog in my care they are my sidekick all day long. I would love to have the chance to care for and love in others furry family members and treat them like they are my own.

Our foster dog, Sam, has unique needs and Julia was incredibly accommodating! We were able to hold a meet & greet first just to make sure it was the right fit for both of us and after only a few minutes, there was no doubt in my mind that Julia was responsible, caring, and incredibly competent to take care of Sam. Her communication was timely and responsive. When we dropped him off, she already had a fresh water bowl set out for him, an additional bed for him to make himself comfortable and his kennel all set to go! We received regular updates during his stay and he did beautifully. She followed his plan of care to the tee, gave him his twice daily medications, and made sure he was safe and secure during his stay. We would not hesitate to use Julia again and give her high recommendations! Thank you Julia for taking such great care of Mr. Sam!
My dogs came home happy and loved. If there were any obstacles with my fur babies she observed and figured out how to make them feel at ease. She is amazing. Cannot thank her enough.
