Pet care experience
We would love to help give your dog all of the care & love he/she needs! I (Josie) have a flexible work schedule, and James works from home. We live in a house with a big fenced-in back yard, and do have a dog (Knox). He is really great with other dogs & "matches their energy" well whether they want to play or just ignore each other :) I'm happy to take your dog for long walks, run, playtime, or just cuddle up on the couch. We've both have had lots of dogs & other pets our whole lives, so definitely comfortable with puppies, high energy dogs, senior dogs, and any special needs. It’s always nerve-wracking leaving your dog with someone new, but Josie was wonderful! She was able to accommodate my timing. Both before Blaze’s stay and during, she was always extremely quick to respond to messages. I’m a big worrier, so the good communication helped put my mind at ease. I appreciated that she sent photos and even a video of my dog playing in her big fenced yard. Most importantly, Blaze seemed cheerful when I picked her up. Would definitely book with Josie again!

We have a securely fenced in backyard (but never leave pups out then unsupervised). Our house is very dog-friendly, and we make sure if we leave there is nothing for the dogs to get into (or they are crated if your pup is crate trained!).

How much does your dog eat a day/ what times are they used to being fed? Are they food aggressive? What are your dogs favorite toys? Do they like to go for jogs? Are they good on a leash? Any thing else we need to know?
A typical day
I always start the day with a walk, then breakfast for the dogs. Knox usually naps for a while, plays in the yard in the afternoon, and we end the day with a dog park trip or another walk around the neighborhood. Lots of exercise, cuddles, and puppy fun!
