Hi there! I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them brings me so much joy. I grew up in a lively home with four dogs of all sizes—from a tiny chihuahua to a big labrador/German shepherd mix! I’ve also cared for six cats (including newborn kittens), and have experience with smaller pets like rabbits, hamsters, and mice. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve helped friends and neighbors with dog walking and pet sitting for years, and I’ve volunteered at local animal shelters. I’m attentive, responsible, and always make sure your pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s a quick walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight care, I bring lots of positive energy, patience, and genuine care to every pet I meet!

Since moving to Chicago, I haven’t been able to have dogs of my own due to my apartment rules—but growing up, pet care was part of my everyday routine. I regularly cared for our family’s dogs and cats, and I still help out friends and neighbors by walking, feeding, and playing with their pets when they need a hand. Currently, I have a sweet Bombay cat named Chalupa who’s been with me for about three years. I feed her wet food every morning, and she has an automatic feeder that gives her small portions of dry food throughout the day. I make sure she stays mentally and physically stimulated with toys, enrichment, and lots of cuddle time. Whether I’m in my own home or a client’s, I focus on keeping pets comfortable, well-fed, engaged, and loved—just like I would with my own!

Josephine is one of the sweetest people I know! She has a lovely cat of her own and is great with pets of all kinds. My own cat gets excited to see her every time she comes by. I previously lived with her for a year and can attest that she is very trustworthy, responsible, polite, and kind.
I first met Josie when I needed someone to take care of my plants for 2 months. She miraculously kept them alive—even the ones that had been struggling under my care! Since then, she’s shown me that she’s not only good with plants, she’s also amazing with animals. She has an intuition that makes her a very good caretaker. About 3 years ago, she adopted a cat from a shelter. I’ve seen this cat absolutely flourish since her adoption day. Josie’s patience and kindness with animals is one of a kind. Though I haven’t yet needed to hire a pet sitter for my own animals, Josie will be my #1 choice when the day comes!
Josephine is wonderful with animals, I have cats, a dog and a rabbit, she has cared for all of them! Loving and caring with all of them, they love her! Very dedicated and dependable , I highly recommend her to care for your fur babies!

Programa
I’m currently a part-time student, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week. I love using my free time to care for animals—it’s something that brings me genuine happiness. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine, and I’m excited to support pet parents in my community by being a reliable, attentive, and compassionate helping hand whenever they need it!
