I have looked after my own and others pets since I was a teenager (for over 2 decades) and have developed a gentle approach to animal care and training. I have successfully trained my Huskita from a nervous, 1 year old rescue to a confident, well behaved 12 year old dog. I am extensively experienced with both cats and dogs of all ages. I enjoy walks and appreciate just how important they are to your dogs well being. I also understand that each dog is different and requires a tailored care experience, from the nervous and shy to the excitable and even aggressive.

I treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I’d want for my own home and dog. I follow instructions carefully and will require a detailed chat leading up to the walking or sitting so you can provide any important and specific considerations for your pet. I keep things tidy and make sure your dog feels safe, relaxed and comfortable in their familiar space. I pay close attention to their behavior and needs, giving a lot of affection, play and calm companionship. I’m mindful of routines, respectful of your home and committed to building trust with both you and your pet.

Joe is awesome—very professional, a good communicator, and friendly. We have never not met Barley’s new dog walker which had us internally anxious, but Joe went above and beyond and we know our girl has found a new friend! Sends wonderful pictures, highly recommend booking with him!

Joseph was amazing. My wife and I were first time Rover users and found Joseph. He was able to accommodate us on short notice and took great care of our little one. We felt comfortable and assured while away for a long weekend because he sent updates and pictures of our boy and he was happy and well taken care of. 10/10 would ask him again for his help!

Schedule
I am a 38 year old wildlife scientist who is adapting to a life in the US having moved here from the UK in 2025. I am looking for regular walking and home check work and can make most any day and time work during the weekdays.
