While I was raised with dogs (Retrievers, Weiners and Rottweilers), I rescued a cat from a roommate 20 years ago who became my best friend for 17 years. This doesn't stop me from enjoying dogs, or any other pet! As an overall animal lover, I've had dogs, cats, fish, snails, snakes, and geckos as pets and because my mother is a veterinarian, I've picked up some animal health knowledge along the way as well.
