I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have had my own dogs over the past 12 years. My friends would say I’m something of a “dog whisperer” because I connect with them on a deep level. I strive to understand them and make sure they are as happy as they possibly can be. That means understanding what dogs natural tendencies are and what stimulates them then using that information to tailor an amazing experience for that dog. I see them as individuals (as we all should) and I offer them nothing but my respect. I think this gives me a unique approach to caring and loving the animals in my life.

Jon was hands down the best Rover I’ve had so far. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and he sent pictures and videos every day, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. I never felt like I was bothering him when I checked in, and it was obvious he genuinely enjoys caring for the fur babies. He has a great yard, and Revvy had an amazing time. He came home completely exhausted in the best way, clearly after spending his days playing with his new friends. I could tell Revvy was well cared for, happy, and treated like one of the family. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Jon again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone who truly cares about the dogs he watches.

Jon was great way beyond my expectation. Easy to communicate with. I knew when my dogs were in great hands when I dropped them off. The best part of dropping them off was Roxy (Jon’s dog). Probably the coolest dog I’ve ever met.
Jon was very friendly and sent photo updates frequently.

Schedule
I work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible! I can start and stop based off the needs of you and your little buddy! I’m happy to accommodate what you need!

Safety, trust & environment
For visits, the first think I asses is safety for myself and your pet. I also make sure I have a firm understanding of your pets needs and as well as any additional instructions you have for me. I have a very calming presence around dogs no matter how much they might bark at first or feel weary - it’s natural for them to react. So I take the time, if needed, to earn your dogs trust by letting them take their time to warm up to me.
