Pet care experience
I’ve been walking dogs for over 5 years, working with both paid clients and through volunteer work in my local community. I’ve handled dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, including high energy pups and slower moving seniors. One of the most meaningful experiences I had was walking an elderly dog regularly until she simply couldn’t go anymore. As her needs changed, I slowed down our routine, made adjustments to keep her comfortable, and always made sure she felt safe and cared for. What sets me apart is my calm, consistent approach. I prefer to work alone, which means your dog gets my full attention no distractions or split focus. I don’t rush through walks or treat them like a quick chore. I notice small details, follow instructions carefully, and adapt to each dog’s pace and personality. When it comes to dogs, Johnathan is one of the most patient and caring people that I know. I have personally seen him train 3 puppies and each time the results were just amazing. He taught them to potty train outside of the house only. He taught them to sit, roll over, high five, shake hands, wait to eat until they are told and many other tricks. The most amazing thing that I saw was that he taught the dogs not to run out into the street even if the house gate was open. I personally witnessed the dogs run towards the open gate and right before taking another step outside of the gate they stop and just sat down and waited for Johnathan to lead the way. I also saw him take his dogs to the dog park more than once and I have to admit that his dogs were very well behaved around other dogs.
I have three poodle/shitzu dogs. Johnathan has been walking my dogs daily since before the pandemic. They wait at our front windows every morning for his arrival and run out with excitement when they see his vehicle. He always notifies me of his arrival time, walks the dogs for about 40 minutes (they are exhausted when they return!) He obviously loves animals and they love him back. he is very dependable!

Making sure pets are secure before, during, and after walks, checking gates, doors, leashes, and anything else that keeps them safe. I always double check that water bowls are full and that the pet is comfortable before leave. I don't rush through visits or take shortcuts. Whether I'm walking a dog or stopping by for a drop in, I stay focused on the animal and their needs. I understand how important it is to trust Someone with your pet and your home, and I take that responsibility seriously every time.

It’s important for me to know everything that helps me care for your pet the right way. Things like their routine, any medical needs, behavior around other dogs or people, and what makes them feel comfortable or stressed. I also like to know if they have any favorite toys, treats, or habits anything that helps me give them the same love and care they get at home. I’ve worked with dogs that have anxiety and/or special instructions before, so just let me know what they need I’m happy to follow whatever keeps them calm and happy.
A typical day
A typical day with me includes lots of tail wags and playtime! I start the day with a walk or potty break to get their energy out, followed by feeding, fresh water, and some cuddles or play with their favorite toys. If I’m pet sitting, I make sure they get love and attention throughout the day walks, games like fetch or tug of war, enrichment toys, and quiet time for pets who prefer to relax. I follow the pet parent’s routine closely to keep things comfortable and familiar for their pet

Availability
Pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine. I walk dogs every morning and plan the rest of my day around those responsibilities, because I’m used to starting my day with dog walks, I’m consistent, dependable, and able to take on new clients without disrupting my flow. I also have flexibility in the afternoons and evenings depending on the day, so I can work with different schedules when needed.
