We have had dogs our entire life. Owned horse boarding farm for 17 years with up to 40 horses. Stone Tavern Farm in the Catskills Boarded dogs while guest came to our all weekend wedding venue.

Aggie had a great time staying with John. He was very thorough with pre-stay communications and with sending updates during her stay. I felt confident that Aggie was well cared for.
First time ever leaving our fur baby with a sitter, so we were nervous… until we met John. There was an instant relief. John is very comforting and reassuring. Our dog is a good judge of character and she took to him instantly. We received many updates and pics from John. Would highly recommend John to anyone considering pet sitters.
Our two golden retrievers boarded for three nights with John and they received great care. Numerous updates along the way and they got along great with the other family pets. Will definitely be a repeat destination for our fur babies !

We would recommend John to anyone! He was able to watch Nellie on short notice when our OBX rental didn’t allow dogs, and we’re so grateful we found him. He was super communicative, sent daily updates and lots of photos, and took such great care of her. Nelly is a high energy lab, and he kept her happy and worn out with plenty of fetch in their fenced in yard! John and his wife, Zena, are so kind and down to earth. We would absolutely use them again if we’re ever back in the OBX area!

We let the dogs out almost hourly, and we have a doggie door going to our half acre fenced in backyard if they need more. We feed them separately and they sleep in our house. We place Apple tile trackers on the dogs collars as soon as they arrive just in case they should slip out the door which has never happened by the way.

- When you come, just please bring their bed or blanket, their food, supplements, medicines, no bowls are needed as we have plenty, toys if you desire, and of course your wonderful, beautiful Furbabies. If your dog likes to be in a crate at night, no need to bring one since we have 2.
