I am uniquely qualified to handle "high-touch" pets; I currently share my home with three dogs, including one who is blind. This personal experience means I am expertly attuned to the specific safety needs, verbal cueing, and environmental consistency required for vision-impaired or special-needs pets. I provide a calm, steady presence. Having managed my own multi-pet household for two decades, I am deeply familiar with complex feeding schedules, medication administration, and the subtle behavioral shifts that signal a pet needs extra comfort or attention.

Johanna and Jerald took wonderful care of our two dogs while we were away. They were so kind and caring and sent pictures throughout the week to keep us updated on how they were doing. My pet care routine is built on a seamless "team approach" with my husband. Because I work a teacher’s schedule at the school right across the street, I am home by mid-afternoon and have all holidays, breaks, and full weekends dedicated to your pets. During my school hours, my husband works from home full-time, ensuring your pets are never left alone and receive consistent companionship, potty breaks, and attention throughout the day. This setup allows us to provide a stable, supervised environment where your pet’s routine, whether it’s a midday walk or specific feeding time, never misses a beat.

Your pets are treated like members of the family in our home. We have a large, fully fenced-in backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and socialize together under constant supervision. Whether it’s a game of fetch or a quiet sniff in the grass, there is plenty of room for everyone to burn off energy. To ensure a stress-free stay, we maintain a structured environment: Crate Training: My three resident dogs are fully crate-trained, which helps maintain a calm household. Flexible Sleeping & Breaks: I have spare crates available for visiting pets, or you are more than welcome to bring your own from home to keep your pet’s routine consistent. Safe Introductions: With over 20 years of experience, I carefully manage introductions to ensure all dogs are comfortable and compatible before group play.
Pets
A typical day
We love to play in the big back yard, including fetch, tug of war, and socialization time (where appropriate) with my dogs. We also love to go for walks around the neighborhood. Sitting on the couch and watching TV together is also a good time. 11:00 AM is always cookie time (unless you specify otherwise for your pet).
